After Dinari finishes a business meeting with a bad burger, he checks his messages and sees that the Moderator called him. This makes him happy since maybe the Moderator will know what to do about Cuba. The Moderator is a pretty smart guy.
Dinari Dollar calls the Moderator back right away!

"You say he isn't so bad...so what is he like?" Malak says as he follows her into her room. He is curious to learn about Calithin, since he has never actually met anyone wealthy before. He assumes that they are all immoral and complete assholes to be around. He imagines that Calithin is probably demanding and immature.

"Well, don't worry, I'll totally take care of this." Tristan tells Venice. Since Venice seems pretty quiet, Tristan nods and starts walking away with the elf girl. He doesn't even know her name yet. They walk for a while so that they are no longer near Venice, who will hopefully forget about the whole thing.
"So, you worked for the Invisible Hand, eh?" He asks her as they are walking.

Tuesday shuts the door behind them, and deposits her purse on a chair, and taking two bottles of water from the fridge, holding one out to Malak, before flopping on the couch in the room.
"Hm." She considers his question for a moment. "Well hes not like you would think, he's not really full of himself, actually he's a lot of fun, he plays silly little games, really, hes not bad."
Shes quiet for a moment, then looks over at him. "So, were you sent to check up on me?"

"No way, I was sent here to go to your little cousin's birthday with you." He states. He actually was sent to make sure that she stays on task, since the group is on a tight budget and can't afford extra expenses. Anyway, they hadn't heard back from her for a few days, so they wanted to make sure that she hadn't been captured.
"At least you aren't captured or anything. Though...who knows, maybe you could have been. Do you think that woman was a rebel, curious, or out to get you?" He asks with concern.

"Oh yes, I completely forgot, well, now we're much more than fashionably late to little Jim's party, so I suppose that we're just going to miss the biggest bash of the century." Tuesday says.
"You guys just don't trust me." She crosses her arms across her chest and pouts. "I was just there like two days ago! Annnnnd I wrote a story."
She shrugs when he asks about the woman. "I dunno. I left her my name and number though, so I'm sure as hell gonna find out. I'm really curious. Theres a chance that shes a rebel."
She realizes that he's still standing. "You can sit if you want to."

"Oh we trust you...of course we do." Malak replies. He takes a seat and crosses his own arms. "It's just we can't be too terrible. Anyway, it's a really bad idea to go after that woman or contact her in any way. I just have a bad feeling about it. Trust me. Bad bad bad." He says waving his finger.
"Well, tell me about your story.."

Tuesday shrugs. "Well, despite your bad bad bad feeling, I left her my number, and even I'm not rude enough to ignore a phone call. So really, I won't be contacting her, she'll be contacting me."
"My story? It was pretty amazing, you'll just have to go and read it yourself." She takes a sip of her water.
She thought of the big story that she was looking for. Malak was a rather good journalist, perhaps he could help her. "But really, I'm looking for something big, something that'll just wow everyone, and encourage more people to take action, get involved. Any ideas?"

"The Gray Zone might be a good one. But that would be pretty dangerous and who wants to go there. The Manalists and Economic Council say that it is shrinking, but, I dunno, it doesn't seem like it. No one even knows what caused it." Malak says. He wonders if Tuesday is upset that he came.
"Listen, I hope you aren't upset that I'm here. I am not out to watch your or protect you or nothing like that...just wanted to make sure everything was going peachy keen. You know I'm not spying or trying to annoy you." He says in his own defense.

"Hm, I thought of the Gray Zone too, but like you said, who really wants to go there. I sure don't." She taps her fingers against the arm of the sofa for a moment, thinking. "I'm seriously at a loss for a good story, I think I feel a case of writers block coming on."
Tuesday looked at him, shaking her head. "Oh no, I'm not annoyed with you, I enjoy your company Malak, I apologize if I seemed annoyed, I'm just thinking about a few things."

Malak tries to think of some other ideas for stories. There are a lot of them. "Well, what about things in Cuba? That's something. And might be of interest to people." He suggests. He then remembers that she was just there. He slaps himself in the head.
"Wait, you were just there. Did you learn anything?"

"Dinari finnaly i can talk to you I am concerned about Cuba I need to know what you know" he had big plans for Cuba a test model for dealing with other rebel areas. if he could put down the rebels in Cuba he could crush all of them. "I have heard the mob is involved are they supporting the rebels" he ask Denair

"Well, the mafia did want some land there. As for me, I have also bought land there since I wanted to develop it. For the rebels..I dunno if they have ties to the mafia or not. I guess what rebels are left are in hiding." Dinari replies. He has a strong feeling now that all of his plans for Cuba are probably a wash. It makes him feel pretty glum. He really needs something to work out to build him up.

"land so thats what is going on I heard as much but i needed to check" he made a quick note and checked his sources land values were rock low right now in Cuba. "it looks like the market is open we just need security" he told Dinari "I was thinking of making a new prisons, labs all secret" he waited a minute "if you let me build them under you’re buildings I could help you with loans, security maybe even get the mob of you’re back what do you say Dinari is it a deal"

"Oh... Okay..."
I bend my knees a little and slouch to make myself appear shorter and mess up my hair. I even talk in a ridiculous high-pitched voice to add to the characterization.
"Um... Well, Creditor person... Maybe we can work something out? Maybe I could... Well, let me see... I'm not really good for much... Maybe I could take care of your plants for you? Or give ridiculous lectures on things no one really wants to know about? Or help you put together horribly strange outfits? I'm sure there's something I can do to maybe convince you to give me some more time to pay my debts! I promise my most sincere promise to pay you back!"
I break character for a minute to explain myself...
"See, Hilja, when in tough situations... It's good not to take them very seriously. Be above the situation and find the humor. Really, just feel it out. There's always room to make things about you... And thus, make them fun."
