Charon smiles "While honestly the pay isn't that bad, plus I've always found religion fascinating. The idea of entire civilizations bowing down to a greater power intrigues me more than anything else in the world."
Charon looks up at the sky and sighs "How much longer until the pollution blots out the stars and destroys one of our final connections to the civilizations of the past?'

He was no tree hunger when he was born there was no need there were so many less people. "I think people are always people, no matter what time race or religion" great he was going all yoga on him but maybe that was no so bad. "I think if we could experience near death feel the pain of it maybe we would be slower to kill other people" how many people did I kill for my god.

Charon yawns "I guess you're right, but with the Manalist I'm not sure even immense pain would deter people" Charon glanced down at his watch and yawned again.
"How did it get so late?" Charon stood up and stretched. "It was great meeting you Azure, perhaps we'll meet sometime in the future?"

"Hey Azure, please try to stay out of trouble..ok?" Charon gives Azure a serious look and a nod of his head "Stay safe Azure"Charon whispers as he heads back to his house.

"I hate this piece of crap!" Anthony yelled as he passed some of his men. Keeping in shape never proved to be more useful. He was passing everybody until he rounded a corner and ran into Kaled. "Where is he tanker-boy?" Anthony asked in a yell. He got back up and immedietly ran in the same direction as Kaleb. "Do you have any idea of what the insane are capable of?" Anthony asked in another yell, not waiting for a response from the first one.

"Oh thank you..." Tuvi blurts out when Peter shows up. If Dinari wasn't blocking her inside the booth, she'd probably jump him and hug him to death.
"This is Peter. He also works for All-Mart. Please, join us." Just because she said please, doesn't mean she is giving him a choice in the matter.

Alexei nods to Tuvi, looking over at Peter.
"Pleasure to meet you, Peter."
Again, Alexei was trying his best to continue looking frinedly and calm, not letting the fact he was uncomfortable show. He honestly didn't trust Allmart, and he rarely trusted anyone where he wasn't sure he had anything to offer them. As far as he knew, all these Allmart employees were trustworthy, law abiding people, making them horribly unpredictable to Alexei. Their motivations were absolutely mysterious to him.
He glanced back at Tuvi, still smiling cheerfully.

Taking the offered water bottle, Lena nodded, a bit surprised at his blind eye. It certainly explained things though, and she probably would've guessed at it after a while. Everyone had a weakness, perfect was impossible. She was positive even this religion's "God" had a weakness too. And of course people were only interested in money, especially with the state of the world today...
Steering her thoughts away from those areas, she tilted her head at his strange question that seemed almost random. How peculiar...
"Don't we all?" She commented before twisting the cap off the bottle. Upturning it, she took the opportunity to word her next statement while she drank. After a moment she lowered the bottle once more and twisted the cap back on it.
"To directly answer your question, yes, I certainly have my fair share of secrets." The corner of her mouth lifted in a smile that didn't seem quite right. "But, my trust is rarely given. I have not fully trusted a man or woman in what seems like a very long time. Smart, depending on how you look at it, or foolish."
A part of her mind felt she was speaking too freely, but there was no danger in revealing anything. She was much more careful than that. She couldn't help wondering, though, why he had shown one of his secrets and one of his weaknesses to her.
Maybe there was some trust thing with the whole bodyguard and protectee roles, she concluded with a mental shrug, not like she'd done this before.

Back to Anthony
When he was expecting Virgil at any moment, instead he got the little scientist. How infuriating and also frustrating. Kaleb didn't bother helping him up nor reply to his question as he had a job to do right now that was vastly more important then stopping to help him up. "Do you have any idea what an eight foot tall super soldier with a mean streak is capable of?" Kaleb retorted with a growl both in a hostile manner and foreboding way. He did not mean it to sound like a threat, but if Anthony took it as one then that was not Kaleb's problem.
Kaleb rounded another corner, seeing a trail of slime on the walls and floor which he ran down finally having a trail to follow as he thundered down the hall. Fortunately for Virgil, due to the crampness of the hall Kaleb was unable to make full use of his legs which could easily cover kilometers where there was more room for him to manuever in.

"Can't sleep..." Gabriel thought to himself as he slowly sat up and began massaging his temples. Why couldn't he ever sleep? He was beginning to think he could never actually sleep any more he had gone for so long without sleep, but something in the back of his mind told him otherwise. A human body no matter how long it was, could not go forever without some sleep. "I know something that will relax your nerves..." a cold and seductive voice whispered to him.
"It's normally against my better judgement to take the advice of disembodied voices." Gabriel thought back defensively. Now he was tormented by that strange voice again; was he going mad? "You once took my advice. Don't you remember the good times we shared?" the voice replied sounding hurt, but Gabriel knew it was just pretending. "All of the evil creatures you slaughtered... The lives of the sinnful you purged in the name of your so-called god. I can still remember their soft screams; can you?" the voice added with a sort of insane giggle.
"I was young and foolish back then Voice. Leave me be." Gabriel replied with a mental hiss as he got up, grabbed his coat and headed outside. Now he needed some fresh air to get his mind off of sleeping and rid of his unwanted guest. It had been quiet for awhile now, Gabriel wondered why it had suddenly come back again. "Worried about me are you? Heheheh," the voice giggled again as Gabriel took a teleportation booth and appeared in Helsinki, heading to the first pub he saw and took a seat at the counter.
(If anyone wants to help Gabriel ignore the voice in his head, I'll be making a side story thread you can do it in)

"I doubt that we should go after him. He is probably dangerous." I reply to my brother since I really wouldn't want my brother to do tests on Attis. "Here's a better idea! Why don't ...you let me see the work that you typically do!" I suggest.
(This could be an opportunity to go visit Virgil together and you can do some tests on him)
"I think it would be really fun to see...the greatest psychologist in the world in action!"
