Alexei eyes Sakari, then thumps him in the back in a friendly way. Proceeding into the mansion. He waves a hand to Kaschei, showing deep respect for saying,
"We got it all unloaded, boss. It's all going where it needs to go."

I look over the menu list myself and catch green tea before he does. "Oh there." I state to him. I go ahead and place an order for the tea and feel pleased with this.
A mechanic who works with Manala crystals, that seems good enough. At least he does something useful with himself.
"Being a mechanic is useful. I am not mechanically inclined in the least." I state. "Where do you live? You have a shop?" I ask him.

Dinari takes the first bite of his burger and smiles. "This is great!" He exclaims.
"Fine, I can call you Tuvi. Tuvi is fine. It's all just fun. I don't mean anything by it. You need to lighten up. The world is dark and depressing already. People just need to have fun."

"Good." Kaschei replies. He lets the two men inside and looks over at Sakari. "And how did he do?" He asks Alexei concerning Sakari. Sakari is only working for them because he cheated a mafia member out of some money gambling some time back. Kaschei graciously took mercy upon the strange little man by allowing Sakari to work for him.

Patrick sighs relief, and shouts for a coke.
"Yeah, back in London I have a shop. I enjoy what I do, really. It gives me enough money to keep a good living quality."
He seats himself, popping the lid off his bottle of coke.

Alexei eyes Sakari neutrally, but smiles politely at both of them before saying,
"He's a natural. Good guy to have around." He grins a bit, "He's a twerp, but he's all right! Had to hold him down to keep him from snorting all our shit, but he's all right!"
Alexei is, of course, lying, since he was the one snorting the supply, and not Sakari.

"Well good. I like to see people happy in this world." I state to him. When my tea arrives I take a sip of it. "I love green tea, but it seems less popular than black tea." I say and take another sip. "Now...the Economic Council recently decided to allow caffeine products to remain legal for the time being...except for in sodas and what not." I look at his coke, but I doubt it is caffeinated.
"Green tea was preferable to the British than Black tea, but in the mid 1800s there was still trouble shipping it. It would get moldy. That is why Europeans took to drinking black tea. Green tea was simply too perishable."

"Yeah, I don't know shit 'bout tea. My dad used to drink coffee, but I never tried that."
He takes a good sip from the bottle.
"Back in London there's still plenty of smokers, too. I don't have any problems with 'em I guess."

"Yes, I suppose your right. I am just so used to being reserved in public." Tuvi says apologeticly. She makes herself a burger, but hers is a lot less cooked than Dinari's so it bleeds a lot and sit next to him.
"So, have you been putting your clothes in the hamper so I can send them to dry cleaning?" Tuvi ask in a conversational way. She is trying to be a little more social since she thinks she hurt Dinari's feelings.

Kaschei frowns. Cocaine is hard to come by, expecially since coca plants are extinct now. He has imported some plants from the past, but still, it is a hastle, and the drug is worth a lot.
"You'll have to work longer to pay for the drugs you use. Another year with us." Kaschei tells the slight man. His decision is harsh, but, he senses that Sakari could be useful..eventually.
"Have you ever heard of people who can turn into plants?" He asks randomly. The man is obsessed with the supernatural. "I was thinking... if we could find one from a coca plant or even morning glory, we would have a free and perhaps supply of that drug."

"I only brought the tea up since I was thinking of the Opium war. The British used opium grown in India to trade with the Chinese for their tea. Our opium addiction fed their addiction to tea." I reply, then take another sip. I can see the man probably cares nothing for history.
"I am not sure how I feel about tobacco. It is ...horrible to smell. I would not miss it." I say with a slight shrug.
"The companies that make tobacco and alcohol are still powerful. I am not sure that the world will ever see those banned completely. But who knows."

"Shoot, I totally forgot. I was throwing my clothes all over the floor. I just figured someone would clean it up." Dinari replies.
"Hey..this is a dumb question, but are you happy working for me? Cuz...I wouldn't be happy doing what you do."

Alexei raises a brow,
"That is an...interesting idea." Alexei says, shrugging slowly then asks,"Where would you find someone like that?"

"If they can sell it they will. It's not the company's fault if it gets bought."
Of course Pat was secretly a smoker, not something he was ever going to expose soon.
"I never knew opium had anythin' to do with tea. I don't know much 'bout China though. Fuck's goin' on there?"

Peter had blood on his hands, literally and metaphorically. He also had blood on his face and his clothes and was doing his best to wash it off in the apartment's sink. It had been easy to find one of the rebel bosses, the lowest rungs of society didn't keep many secrets from each other, he'd just had to pretend he was interested in joinned and they'd practically walked him inside.
It had been perfect, they'd only had knives. Once his field was in place they couldn't cut him with the stupid things, iron and magnetics, he he. Unfortunitally the boss had been a little better equiped than one might think. He'd gotten off a shot with a low calibur handgun and those crystal powered things punched right through his field. That was why he had blood on his clothes, the hole in his side.
It was a minor wound, those guns didn't pierce as much as burn, and the bleeding had been short. Of course he'd reacted rather... rashly. It'd all worked out alright in the end, now he'd have an easy time making this look local and bad. The former rebel leader looked like someone had dedicated the better part of their bad to applying live wires to his body in some painful places and it'd been an easy matter to take one of the knives and mark up the followers' bodies like they'd fought back. All in all, aside from the pain in his gut, it'd worked alright.
Except the blood wasn't coming out right...
An hour later, everything in place, Peter slipped out the apartment window, a blue glow and gentle hum the only hint of his decent to the ground below. Limping slightly and keeping one hand tight against his side he slipped off through the alleyways. This was critical: no one could see a white haired man leaving the scene, it would ruin everything.
When he finally felt he was far enough away he stopped and took out his cellphone. He called Dinari's personal number and hoped the man had his phone on him.
