Story:
Calithin is the son of the Finnish God of destruction: Keitoleinen and an angel. So he is half angel, half God. His mother was kind and patient, but his father was destructive womanizing and cruel. He was raised by his mother in England and has a younger sister named Capricious. When he grew older, he attended college in London for business and went on to head the Crest Mining Company. His mother died when he was young for causes unknown. He mainly works in London, but the company has offices all over the world. Hilja works at the Helsinki office.
Calithin is sadistic and narcissistic. He thinks highly of himself, but can never become intimate with anyone for fear that they will see his flaws. So, he prefers to be cold and sadistic, never maintaining relationships with people for very long…unless they happen to be very weak and accommodating. This is the case with Hilja, who he can easily treat with cruelty. He enjoys tormenting her, but is mostly concerned with work, making money, and promoting his objectivist ideals. The Crest Mining company has the monopoly on mining Manala crystals. Because he controls such powerful crystals, he is one of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. His father owns a company called Sota, which makes weapons and androids.
In the comic, Calithin is disliked by Tristan, and really, most non business or Manalist characters who he encounters.
Calithin has a modest following within the Manalist movement because he is a demi god and arch angel. There are statues and stained glass art dedicated to him.
