She appears to be several years younger than she really is. Her legs are long, despite her tiny form, and somewhat muscular due to her years in ballet. She has shoulder length wavy blonde hair, which she usually keeps down, but in the rare instances when she does put it up she does so loosely so that strands will frame her face. She has fair skin, which is clear of freckles, acne, or any other sort of blemishes. Her eyes are big, golden brown, and bashful, framed by her long, flirty lashes. Her lips are soft and pink, and her teeth straight and white. She has a tattoo of a Raggedy-Ann doll on the inside of her right heel.
She usually dresses herself in colorful clothing, but really likes how she looks in white. She's not very modest, and likes showing off her legs. She loves shoes, and has multiple pairs, but likes being barefoot. She tries to wear heels most of the time, so that shes not towered over, but would rather opt for more comfortable shoes, or none at all. She wears make-up, only to make herself look older, without it, she thinks she looks much to much like a child. She likes jewelery, and often wears necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Even though she rarely puts up her hair, she always has an elastic around her wrist, just in case.
Personality: Mollie has a big heart, she's extraordinarily kind and compassionate. She never doubts people, and believes that there is good in everyone. She tends to trust and forgive people much to easily. She's a generally happy person, and has a sweet nature, she doesn't like to disappoint. She almost always smiles, and can see the bright side in even the darkest situation. She enjoys talking to people. She also likes bright colors, vanilla, tea, and lip gloss. Shes a bright, chipper person, and has an almost child-like innocence about her.
Though shes extremely intelligent, she lacks organization, and has a stockroom in her store that is filled with paperwork that needs to be filed through. She's almost been evicted twice, and has had to work her way out of a few sticky spots, because of her disorganization. She is very patient, and doesn't give up once she's started something, though it may take her long periods of time to finish.
She likes to have something to do with her hands, and never really keeps them still. If she's not doing something, then she'll mime playing the piano on any surface, be it a desk, wall, the side of her leg, or even just in the air. When she's feeling anxious or apprehensive about something she tends to be very fidgety. She'll tap her feet, twist her hair, tug on a necklace if she's wearing one, chew on her finger nails, anything as long as it keeps her busy.
Story: Mollie and her twin sister were born prematurely to a wealthy couple in Helsinki. Her twin's lungs hadn't fully developed, and she died within 24 hours of her birth. Mollie wasn't a healthy baby, she weighed significantly less than what she was supposed to, and was given all the medical attention possible, which wasn't much seeing as Manalists simply viewed her as a weak soul, and therefore she didn't deserve to live. For the first two or three years of her life, it was a fight to stay alive. Her body wasn't retaining the nutrition that was essential to fight off disease, and her immune system was weak. Extra precaution had to be taken to ensure that Mollie didn't come down with even something as trivial as a common cold.
Despite her health issues, Mollie was a cheerful child. Always eager to play with the other children, even though she wasn't aloud, in fear that she would overexert herself or contract something from the other children. However, at age four, things took a turn for the better. Mollie began to retain nutrients, her immune system strengthened, and she began to gain weight, though she was still much thinner than she should be.
Mollie's parents always took good care of her. Her father was a very uptight, strict man, he was tall and lean, and had a thin face which was usually drawn into a scowl or sneer. Her mother a sweet, gentle woman with soft eyes and a short, plump figure. They both claimed to be Manalists, however didn't follow all of the beliefs. Mollie tried to embrace Manalism, but found herself unable to, she simply isn't cold hearted enough. She still tries to act as if shes a Manalist, mostly to keep herself out of trouble, but it doesn't always work out in her favor.
Her father, who was the creator and original owner of Playthings, would stay away from home for weeks at a time on business, so most of the time it was just her and her mother, who only worked part time, when both her parents were at work, a woman named Wendy came and took care of her.
Wendy was a young woman, in her mid twenties, with long hair, bright eyes, and she always had an interesting story to tell. She worked as a babysitter, had an amazing boyfriend, friends, and clothes. Mollie thought she had the ideal, perfect life, and looked up to Wendy. She was Mollie's idol. Wendy would let Mollie stay up past bed time to watch movies with her, she always let her have dessert, even if she didn't eat all her dinner, she would paint her nails, and often took her to the park, which was one of Mollie's favorite places.
Mollie's parents put her through school, keeping her busy with ballet, piano, tennis, and vocal lessons, all of which she excelled in, Wendy used to take her to her lessons sometimes, but Mollie started to see less and less of her as she got busier. She had aspirations of becoming a ballerina or a professional tennis player when she was young. But with her light, airy voice, and easy up take of the piano, music seemed to be where her potential lied. Outside of lessons, she practiced diligently, if she wasn't outside hitting tennis balls against the side of her house or engaged in a tennis match with a friend, then the inside of the house was filled with music, weather it be coming from her, or if it was on a radio and she was dancing to it. Wendy encouraged her to practice as often as she could, and follow her dreams.
Mollie's mother started to work full time, and Wendy started to come around more. She would not only take care of Mollie when no one else was around, she also started to pick Mollie up from school, and take her to and from lessons, she would also go to her matches and recitals, do her homework with her, sometimes she was there from the time Mollie woke up in the morning to the time Mollie went to bed at night. On nights that Wendy was watching her, Mollie's father would often come home and eat dinner with them, sometimes staying until after Wendy put Mollie to bed. Around the same time the sweet child hit puberty, her mother made a heartbreaking discovery. It turns out that Mollie wasn't the only one who'd taken a liking to Wendy, her father had as well, and when he'd been on those so called business trips, he'd really been hooking up with other women. Mollie's mother, who thought marriage was supposed to be sacred was outraged. There was a nasty split, and Mollie was left wondering why her father had hurt her and her mother so. She didn't understand.
Mollie's mother was damaged by her husband's betrayal. She began working more and more spending as little time as possible in the house where she'd spent so many years with a man whom she'd loved. After lessons, Mollie would go to a friend's house or stay home alone, instead of sitting with Wendy while her mom was at work.
Around the time when she turned 15, she decided that she wanted to be a pianist, because everyone kept saying she had such potential. She began to write a piece, her first. Mollie wanted it to be something amazing and memorable, and worked on it in almost every free moment. When she was about 18, she stopped taking her vocal, dance, piano, and tennis lessons, and committed almost all her time to her piano, where she was still working on her piece. She moved out of her mother's house, and got an apartment of her own, it was rather large, had all the essentials and more. She feels very happy there.
She hadn't heard from her father in years, and one night, after her 21 birthday, she got a phone call from her mother, who explained that he'd died in a freak accident, and Mollie'd been left the toy store. At first, she'd thought that she was going to sell it just to spite her father, but she thought about it, and decided to keep it, and run it herself.
Mollie thought it'd be for the best to find a partner. In her mind the perfect partner would have to be someone organized, who could take care of her faults, perhaps someone who was more experienced when it came to running a business, someone who she could count on, and someone who was close to her.
She first offered the position to her mother, who immediately turned it down, saying she didn't want anything to do with the toy store. Mollie had been popular in school, as she was a likable person, but none of her school chums who would be willingly to work alongside her came to mind, and then she thought of Wendy. She searched for her, though it was in vain, for she found out that Wendy had been with her father in his last hour, and had deceased as well.
Now, she runs Playthings, but is often getting in trouble for her disorganization, over the past few years paperwork had piled up, and Mollie had just shunted it to the side in an empty stockroom. She is still open to having a partner. She's not as close as she'd like to be with her mother, and hadn't been since her mother and father split up. She still plays every day, in hopes of one day achieving her dream of becoming a famous pianist. She likes to play tennis, dance, and sings as often as she can as well. One day, she wants to settle down, get married, and have a family of her own.
