Kith draws his sword, a gift from his father, and chops the demon's head off. It is not a powerful creature, but intimidating enough. He isn't going to play around, though, he doesn't feel there is much he can do.
"No. You are going to release Linnea's friends or...or, I will tell the Moderator about ..who you've been selling some of your weapons to." Kith replies firmly.
He kicks the demon head at Keitoleinen's feet.

"You think you can threaten me?" Keitoleinen asks with a laugh. "It will do more harm to you than to anyone else. So, the Moderator will know...and I am sure that Li Violette will be arrested and executed. A lovely end to your leader and cause. But go ahead. Do your worst. He probably already knows." Keitoleinen replies with a laugh. He looks down at the demon head but isn't bothered by it. It only means that he will need a new pet.
"I think you need to lighten up. Everyone takes life so seriously."
Keitoleinen sets down the branding iron.
"Why are you here anyway? Trying to impress them? Trying to be a hero for a day? By all means then, I can play along with this game of yours if you think it will help with your self esteem."

Kith frowns and feels deflated and frustrated. There is little that he can do to help in the situation.
"Alright, what must I do in order to help Linnea's friends? I am just...frustrated with how you treat people. They are just...everyday people and it isn't fair. Life in this world is hard enough. Haven't you any empathy for anyone?" Kith asks with a sigh.
"Doesn't anyone ever tell you that you are being completely awful? Even Calithin?"

"No, what does he care? He isn't some meddlesome twirp. He has nothing to prove to the world or to me." Keitoleinen replies to Kith. He wonders for a moment what he could do to Kith in exchange for helping Linnea's friends. He is annoyed with Kith right now, so, perhaps he can bargain with him.
"Alright, I will send Linnea's friends home...if you do something for me. I want you to kill someone. Anyone. It can be random, it can be someone you know, it can even be someone you don't like. Just kill someone and I will know that you are really interested in their well being and not just in trying to show off to them. If you kill someone, I will leave Linnea alone for a whole month..I will not even visit her at work. But, you must bring the head of the person that you killed. If you do that within three days, I will keep my promise." Keitoleinen states with a smile. He thinks that Kith is too soft any way. Killing someone would probably be good for him.

Kith considers the offer. He doesn't feel like killing anyone. It would be a worse fate for that person than for Ophelia to be abused a little. However, Kith figures that maybe there is a way to trick Keitoleinen or get out of the situation.
"Fine, I will kill someone. Release Ophelia and Linnea's other friend and I will bring you someone's head in less than three days." Kith agrees.
He wonders what he will do. Maybe kill someone who is already ill? Maybe even kill one of Li's enemies. It could work out to benefit Red Infinity...perhaps.

"Very well then." Keitoleinen replies with a bright smile. "Ophelia, you can leave. You will find Horacio in my prison here in Helsinki. It is on Manala Katu near an old Lutheran Church that was turned into a Manalist Temple. I think you will identify it because it has some of the old stained glass." Keitoleinen explains.
He takes a moment to write a note and hands it to her. "It's just a note. Give it to the prison guards there and they will release your friend. However, do not read or open the note before handing it to them. Understand?"
Keitoleinen calls for his maid to clean up the dead demon in his room and decides that maybe he should head to the office.
"I'll be at my office. You can drop the head off there, Kith." Keitoleinen states to his son. And with that he leaves.
He is pleased with his day.

"Don't worry. I won't actually kill anyone. I have a plan." Kith lies to Ophelia. He doesn't want her to think that someone might die, even if he doesn't have a plan...or might actually kill someone. He would prefer if Linnea and Ophelia saw him in a positive light.
"I think you will be fine for now. I have someone to meet with...I will check up on you sometime."
Kith leaves as well. He leaves the mansion and decides that he will pay Calithin a visit. Maybe Calithin will have some advice.
He saw Calithin at the party, so, he decides to head back there. Perhaps he will talk to Li as well about the murder aspect.

Kith takes a teleportation booth back to Switzerland and is allowed into the Global Bank building because he is registered as a body guard to Li Violette and an employee of Keitoleinen's company SOTA.
He spots Calithin with Dr. Lonrott and walks right over to him.
"Sorry to interrupt, but can we talk?" Kith asks Calithin.

Armin feels uneasy when Bonifaz takes the stage and starts talking to people. He knows Bonifaz...but, he wants to keep that a secret. It seems that this meeting has drug up some bad parts of his past. Things he would rather just forget about.
Armin listens to Bonifaz talk about how a factory was attacked, but he feels little sympathy for Bonifaz's loss. He does however agree that there should be health care for people.
"Bonifaz, I agree with you about the health and drug stuff. I think that maybe we should start up a clinic or something so that people can go there and get treated. It's ridiculous that the Manalists have outlawed hospitals in most areas." Armin chimes in.
"I'm against harming Dinari, Momo, or anyone else. I think that sort of risky stuff will just get us put into prison or executed. I think we need to be more low key about things. Nothing too daring and dangerous."

Charon Desjardins arrives at the rebel meeting with his companion Asphodel and notices Hilja. Hilja has been his garden helper, though, she hasn't been showing up to work much lately. He smiles to himself.
He enters the meeting quietly and takes a seat next to Hilja. "How good to see you here! What wonderful luck!" He says with a warm smile.

Charon only smiles and swats the fairy away.

Ceph decided that he was getting bored with watching this meeting go by. It definately wasn't exactly what he expected.. and at this point, he starting to get curious about Kith's wearabouts. He took out his cellphone and decided to send a text message to his number asking where he was and what he was doing.

Ophelia tried to stand, but her legs wobbled like jello and she sat back down on the floor. She grabbed her shirt close by and put it back on. She felt numb, the nightmare was over as quickly as it had begun.
"I think you will be fine for now. I have someone to meet with...I will check up on you sometime."
She turned her head towards Kith, ready to ask him to stay, but nothing came out of her mouth and he was gone. Her eyes gazed desolately down at the hot iron on the floor for a few moments, until one of the maids in the room picked it up and set it in a bucket of water. The iron made a loud hiss as it touched the cool liquid, causing Ophelia to draw her hand back to her injured shoulder. Some how she had forgotten the pain.
She shifted her eyes to the young maid with the iron, who did not say a word and avoided looking at her. Another older maid approached her and looked down. Not at Ophelia, but at the stream of beast blood she was sitting in, indiscreetly telling her with cold eyes to move so she could clean it up.
Ophelia got control of the shake in her legs and got out of the way, trudging out of the room to go find her way out of the mansion. On the ground floor to her surprise she found Linnea.
"Ms.Linnea! You're here?!" She stopped in front of her and placed her hands on her arms gently, "You didn't have to come. I'm okay.. Here, I got this."
Any sign Ophelia had been tortured was not visible in her face or manner, and her burned shoulder was hidden by her sleeve. She took out the note Keito had given her and handed it to Linnea.
"Your friend Mr.Horacio should be in a prison on Manala Katu near an old Lutheran Church. This note is for the prison guard to release him."

Apolline felt as if she had died and gone to journalist heaven. The night was filled with a bunch of good stories she could use. She had interrogated Anthony nearly all night, asking him about experiments and even asking a few personal questions. She felt more comfortable around him since he was closest to her age at the party and was also a young workaholic like herself.
As the party wound down though, she abandoned his company and wandered over to Max who looked like he was getting ready to leave.
"Are you going to be leaving, sir?" Apolline asked. She knew it was a yes, and she was kind of disappointed. Tonight had been so much fun for her and she didn't want to go home like the manager told her to once Mr.Alexander decided to leave. She wanted to keep going like a little energizer bunny.

Before Linnea could even think about running after Kith, he was gone. This left her to try and find Keito herself. And he could only be in one of two of his favorite places. First she went into the torture chamber, but to her surprise it was empty. The other place she could find him would be the 'bedroom', but before she could make it close to it Ophelia was rushing down the stairs.
"I couldn't just let you do this by yourself. I assume that Kith has taken care of everything?" Linnea looked at the note that Ophelia had. "I think we should get moving now."
Nervously she glanced up towards the bedroom, she expected that Keito knew she was here and would come down to harass her in someway before she could leave.

Kith sees that he has a text from Cephrien, so he takes a moment to let him know where he is. He texts him: SRRY I LEFT ERLY. BACK @ THE PARTY. WILL C U SOON. THINGS 2 DISCUSS.
He feels a little strange texting. It really isn't his thing. But, at least it helps him keep in contact with people. After he is done talking to Calithin, he will return to talk to Cephrien and explain a few things to him. Maybe Cephrien will have some advice.

I notice Kith walk up and nod subtlety.
"Excuse me Dr. Lonrott, perhaps we can catch up later."
I separate from Lonrott and lead Kith to a more quiet corner of the room where we can speak to each other freely.
"It's been a while Kith..."
I look him up and down and scoff slightly.
"Been up to the usual, I suppose?"
