I follow along with Sidapa...weakly doing what he says. I watch as the other rebels get farther and farther away. I consider kicking him or forcing him down the stairs by falling, but I am afraid of getting cut. For now, I just go along with him. Soon, I find myself at the bottom of the stairs with him. I spot the fairy from earlier. "Don't leave me..." I whisper to the pink fairy.

Scrag takes his place high above a crowd, standing in a balcony at the Highest Temple in Rome. It is rare that he gives his own speeches or meets the public like this, but he feels there is much that can be celebrated. Anyway, this is the start of the Holy Week.
"Manalists, citizens of Rome, this is the start of the Holy Week to celebrate the Temple of Terror. We have many events planned for your enjoyment. We will start with a ceremony at the Highest Temple, then, there will be speeches given by High Priests from temples from around the world. Later this week, we will have our first gladiator fight at the remodeled Colosseum. The fight will be between some of the prisoners at the Temple of Terror. I am excited about the death matches. The week will end with a grand parade through the streets of Rome." Scrag explains the agenda.
"The final event of the week will be an announcement concerning the Temple of Terror...which will follow the parade."
He moves closer to the edge of the balcony and looks out at the crowd of people below. There is something about the mass that disgusts him.
"Let us celebrate the accomplishments of the Manalists, our greatness, and all that has been accomplished in the last 55 years."
There is cheering and the Master leaves...a little abruptly and rudely.

Sidapa doesn't notice Salome talk to the fairy. Once they are down the stairs, he leaves the house with Salome and starts moving her to the nearest teleportation booth, and quickly. He wonders what happened to Yasmin. He wishes that she was there to help him. Anyway, he moves quickly and manages to take her to the nearest teleportation booth. He punches in the code for Rome. It would be easier to bring her to a Helsinki temple prison, but he figures that the Temple of Terror has higher security.

The next few moments was both fast, yet moved at a slow pace all at once. After the first shot managed to hit one of the Rebels, Darian was about to follow up with another shot for the head when a black and red vortex suddenly ripped open behind him after Ceph yelled out a spell. Darian already had an understanding of his abilities now, knowing that he had some form of unique travel that enabled him to ignore things like doors- and he knew what the obvious intent was with this ploy as Ceph sprung into action like he anticipated.
As soon as the palm connected, Darian latched onto Ceph's hand and while taking the hit though was thankful for having armor which offered him some protection as he almost fell over backward; using that momentum to instead fall over onto his back while pulling Ceph with him. The idea was to fling him into his own vortex while he remained relatively safe... for about a couple seconds before he most likely came back using his special teleportation trick.

In a flash, I find myself in Rome with Sidapa. He still has the knife to me. We are outside a tall, forboding building that I recognise as the Temple of Terror from TV. To my left, there is a large crowd of people gathered around another building...the Highest Temple. This is my first time in Rome and I feel like I was teleported into hell. I remain quiet though.

Sidapa turns Salome over to some guards at the Temple of Terror. They are wearing red uniforms, like all Manalists do. Sidapa nods at them, but doesn't waste any time. The guards can handle things from there.
Now that he is away from the fight, he takes a moment to call for backup. He texts everyone on his phone list who is listed under: Invisible Hand
FIGHT IN HELSINKI BY HELSINKI UNIVERSITY. REQUESTING BACKUP. ABOUT A DOZEN POLITICAL REBELS.
Sidapa feels that this is better than trying to capture all of those rebels with just Darian. He then takes the same teleportation booth back to Helsinki to see if he can nab anyone else.

Among the gathered crowd of monkeigh is a figure clad in what would appear to be a combination of black armor and a cloak, it's hood drawn over the figure's face to hide himself. Haakon resisted the temptation to simply destroy them all where they stood, mere pawns to this religion's master. No, Haakon if anything was after Master Scrag aswell as the other high priests. This "holy" week they were throwing was a perfect way to begin his attacks. "Soon... very soon... this week will be your last." Haakon thought and found himself unnusually pleased at the idea.
Never before had the idea of cold blooded murder appeal to him as it did, but Haakon was looking forward to it. The other only comforting thought was that it had to be done for the greater good of the world at large. These monkeigh could never truely be content with what they had and always dug deeper to fill a hole that could never be filled. Haakon wondered why they gods made them in the first place, resenting the fact that now they vastly outnumbered Haakon and his people.
Haakon pushed these thoughts away as he silently moved through the crowd, preparing to get into position for his first attack; whenever that would be.

"Well, if you tell me your secret. Maybe I can tell you some of mine." Kith replies to Linnea. They move on to some offices to explore the damage in some of the individual offices in Sota. Some are hardly damaged at all, but others are missing windows, and some are missing entire walls.
Kith gets to work trying to cover up the windows with large pieces of cardboard. That way the rain or elements won't get into the building.

The guards take me and I am put into a prison cell, but not before being marched down a long dark hall of cells. I cannot tell if the cells are empty or full, but since the prison is new, I assume that these prisons are empty. The floor is wet, but I am not sure with what, or why. The place smells like sweat and urine. Finally, I am forced into my cell, which I share with no one, as of yet. I watch the door slam, and that is it. I am alone.

((To Genki, sorry for the delay. Had to jump start my muse))
"Yeah. It's comforting knowing that you're piloting an untested battle machine that could potentially kill you if something malfunctions; not to mention the speed." Kalma replied dryly as she was almost finished with her current batch. "It's actually a thrill and makes you feel alive." Kalma quickly added with a grin, not knowing of Genki's dislike for war machines.
"I've never really thought about it... I'm rather fond of those pale lillies or whatever they're called- but I like roses. Not only becaus they're bright red shade is pleasant to the eye, but also because of all the beautiful poetry they've inspired." Kalma replied in reference to Genki's question about her favorite flower. "Just goes to show you that even something as delicate and beautiful as a rose can hurt you if it's mistreated." Kalma added to summize her feelings about the flower; it really was a beautiful flower.

Shortly after hearing Master's speech through both the TV and the radio, Will nows need to write a speech for the Manala Church in Manchester. He wasn't sure if he should include the chuches in England.
"Well...lets get this over it...." Will mutter to himself.
Will walk puts on the priest traditional robes before walking towards the entrance of the church. Over hundreds of the followers cheer for him as he exit the church.
"Hello everyone!! As you all aware, there is a NEW temple in Rome. It is call the Temple of Terror. Because of that, Master Scrag has just declare holy week. If you want, you can go to Rome and see the very first gladiator fight among the prisoners. After that.....a grand parade."
During the speech, Will slightly smile as the crowd cheer. Once he is finish, Will wave at the crowd before went back inside the church. Maybe he should call his two kids and see if they can come with him when he goes to Rome. Then again, it might be troublesome for him and his kids.

Ceph's plan had backfired. Darian was definately a smart opponent and was not to be taken lightly.. however, that didn't mean that Ceph didn't have his own backup plans.. or rather, split-second decisions. As soon as Ceph was thrown into his own vortex, it closed behind him.. only to open up once again right above Darian. At the same speed as he was thrown in, out came the devil in black, blade drawn and pointed down as he attempted to drive it into Darian's shoulder while he was still laying on his back.

Post by Charon Dejardins/Asphodel on May 25, 2009 1:10:33 GMT -5
Charon hears a shot from above when Armin drops him down. He lands in the lilacs, but sustains no injuries. He is worried about what is going on up above, so he tries to focus his mind to read the rebels minds to get an idea of what is going on. He learns from this that one of them was captured. He isn't going to waste time in such a dangerous place, so, he sneaks through the lilac bushes and sneaks his way to the nearby Helsinki University. He figures he will be safe there, even if his books are not.
Asphodel saw Salome being taken out by Sidapa. She quickly zipped past Sidapa without him noticing, and hid in Salome's pocket, so, when she was taken to prison, Asphodel was there with her.
When she is put in her cell and the guards are gone, Asphodel pops out of her pocket.
"Don't worry, I will help you! I am small so I can fit through the bars of the window. Maybe if I explore this place I can find some keys!" The small pink fairy offers. in a flash of pink, she zips out the window and begins her searching.

I feel a little relieved when the fairy appears...then disappears....
Maybe she will find some keys! I can only hope.
My hopes are soon dashed when a guard appears and informs me that I will appear in the gladiator fight later this week. "But...I can't fight. I don't even know how!" I explain. I am told that the prisoners will be this week's entertainment for the Holy Week and that it doesn't matter.
"Better learn to fight quick." The gruff sounding guard says before he leaves.
I know I can't fight. This is ridiculous. I'll die!
I look towards the window and hope that the fairy returns soon.

"Roller coasters can give you a trill and make you feel alive and lower your chances of getting killed. I think the roller coasters are gone...." Genki reply.
"I think I have some roses.....you could arrange them if you want. So....once we finish, which company we should visit? I am thinking about going to SOTA first, but then again Mr. Keitolenien probadly doesn't want to see us shortly after mom's fit...."
That's alright
