55 m Heikki returns to Bonifaz's house after getting a sample of cat flu, which he is carrying in a cooler. He is sort of shocked to see the socialists there. This might make things more complex, since he can't give them the flu while they are at the house. It would make everyone else sick. Heikki isn't sure what to do now, but Bonifaz will figure something out.
"What are you doing here?" Heikki asks the socialists. He met Surma as he leaving, and wonders if he was offended by Bonifaz or the others. He hopes not.

"Of course you can stay here...for a few days. My home is always open." Bonifaz says to the socialists. He welcomes them inside. Really, he figures they can decide how to infect them now that they are here. It will save the effort of going to meet them. Though, they will have to think of a way to avoid getting infected themselves. He figures...well, there is always vaccination, if he can get it to Archer, Frieda, and himself before Heikki infects himself with the flu. He will have to inform Archer of his plan later.
"Please come in. Help yourself to stir fry. There should be a little left over from Frieda."

"I think I heard somoeone say...burn them alive." Scrag says. He calls forth some priests from behind him who have oil and a torch. The women are doused with the oil and set to flames, becoming screaming torches. There is screaming and the horrific disintegration of their hair, clothes, and flesh into flame.
Master Scrag looks around for Kaschei, who is not behind him as he should be. Kaschei will be the head of the temple of terror, but his identity was to be a surprise for the end fo the week.

It took Yasmin over an hour to find any people. Her dinner are 3 young students. She pretty much stalk them until the students enter their apartment building and went inside the apartment. That is when she attacks them, drank their blood, and slit their throats.
"It is a waste food, but I don't want a risk of one of them live and tell anyone about my true self...." Yasmin mutter to herself.
She quickly exit the apartment and heads to the alleyways. Yasmin now wonder if she continue to stay here or go to a different town or city. She heard about the Holy Week in Rome, but she isn't in a mood of seeing fights or other stuff. So, Yasmin continue to explore the city until she got bored exploring.

Kaschei continues to look for the elf. He should be there. The plan was to approach him before he attacked. Kaschei is moderately concerned so he walks over to Will. "I am the new head of the Temple of Terror. There is an elf in the crowd who is going to attack. If you spot a black haired elf, he should be killed at once." Kaschei explains.
He sent the elf to the end of the world, which means he died in the future, but he would still be alive at this time...and should be about to attack. The fact that he is not there is a little confusing for Kaschei.

Lucio was looking for Yasmin when he was suddenly grabbed and pulled into the bushes. It is Sidapa and he wants to know what happened. With a knife to him, Lucio doesn't feel like struggling or saying no to the question. "Everyone escaped into the teleportation booth, and then it was destroyed! Your friend was defeated by Cephrien." Lucio explains to Sidapa. He takes a deep breath.

Will felt slightly bored since he came Rome during Holy Week. As usual, his son and daughter did not bother come because they need to watch over the temple back in Manchester and do their studies. Anyway, he was with other priests when they gave out the Red Leaf to the crowd. Will did wonder why he and other priest SHOULD pass out Red Leaf to the crowd, but he doesn't questions Master's intentions. Will sat behind Master when others took out the sacrifices. His head felt slightly fuzzy but simply ignores it. He yawns a bit as the sacrifices were burn when Kachei approach towards him.
"Whatever you say, boss.....but can I kill him right now and get it over it?" Will ask.

"He should be here. So, if you do find him, that is fine. He is planning to attack Scrag directly. It was supposed to happen a few minutes ago, but he could still show up." Kaschei explains. He continues to look around the crowd. He does not realize that perhaps he is not here because his future self survived...or that, his future self could have even warned his past self...if his future self had any means of escape. Kaschei contemplates traveling to the future to watch events play out, but, he feels he is needed here right now.

I really dont expect Bonifaz to be so welcoming. Something seems wrong even to me and I am not the most perceptive person in the world...to say the very least. Oh, well, can't look a gift horse in the mouth. I enter Bonifaz's home and wait for the others. I feel a little more at east when Heikki arrives.
"We had our meeting in Helsinki, but we were attacked by the Hand and the Manalists. We needed to go somewhere safe. One person at the meeting was captured...that we know of."

Indeed, Haakon had survived and after he had destroyed the balcony (hopefully with Scrag on it), he had been knocked backwards by Will's kick. Then, everything froze- almost everything. Haakon's mind was the only thing not still frozen which left him blatantly aware that he could not move at all; it was a very strange feeling to know that you could not move, but somehow still be able to survive.
Someone in the Manalists could control time, that much was sure, but thankfully Haakon knew of a spell to go in time himself; though he never had a chance to use it as his mentor had explicitly said that using it to much could damage the fabric of time and space as we know it. Ironic how the Manalists were so eager to destroy such thing. Unable to actually speak the spell, Haakon merely chanted the spell in his mind and was instantly teleported even further back before the day had even begun. From there, he did indeed warn his past self...
Present
Haakon was not in the least bit confused by his future self coming back in time to warn him, but it was alittle unnerving to hear of such an event only hours away. Still, he already knew that it would not be easy and mentally comitted himself to achieving his overall goal. The reason why he had not been in the crowd at all was because he was in the temple itself; disguised under a Manalist priest robe which he used to infiltrate the temple itself.
A direct assault had been advised against, so a more subtle attack was in order as he made his way to the balcony where Scrag and the other Manalist priests were gathered; the aroma of burnt flesh filling his nostrils making his nose cringe with disgust. Haakon's face was partially hidden beneath the hood, only part of his face and one of his eyes clearly visible as he stretched his mind onto the balcony itself. Enveloping it with his mind, the balcony radiated an unearthly blue glow that seemed to be crushing the balcony itself, slowly tearing it apart under the Manalists' feet.
Backing away from the door, Haakon closed it behind him and chanted a quick spell to magicly seal it shut as he continued breaking the balcony apart with his mind. Once the balcony was removed, the fall should surely kill Scrag and most if not all of the other priests, but there was no doubt that there would atleast be one or a few still left alive after such a fall. He would simply just have to "clean" them up afterward...

Aside from the strange happenings around the world, Bambi's life had shifted back to its normal routine. Old habits take a hold easily after chaos storms one's life. Typing the numbers in idly, she mused that old habits were comforting. She hadn't even seen any strange looking people in weeks. Then again... it would've at least been a distraction from the Holy Week. At least she had an excuse not to watch it- which was, of course, work.
Her baby blue eyes scanned over the numbers once more from behind her glasses. Satisfied that the bank's numbers were all correct, she saved and sent her sheets out before beginning to file. Yes, accountanting was a safe job. Numbers didn't change on you, and when it did, there was always a fix in form of some mathematical solution. Still... did she miss the excitement that had blown over in her life?

"Does it matter if I mind?.." Ophelia thought to herself, looking into his glinting red eyes, she read "no".
She accepted it silently though. Her first encounter with him had not been a bad one. He seemed trustworthy.. A person worth taking a risk for. That was an unusal feeling for Ophelia... But after all, he had trusted her, a Roman, to answer a very outspoken question, and she had shown her crucifix to him. In Rome that was close to an intimate exchange.
"You should probably stay in the greenhouse, or upstairs.." she finally answered him, shaking her curly head and walking around him to the greenhouse door, "You chose quite a city to hide out in Mr.Ninja.. How long will you need to stay?"

Linnea listens as Kith talks. Plenty of times she has told herself exactly what Kith was saying, but it was so much more depressing hearing someone else say it out loud. It was like being a prisoner, only she was free to move around until her prison guard decided that it was time to play. Thinking about this she cringed. The conversation shifted towards Celeste and Linnea could tell that he was uncomfortable with the subject. "A dark elf?" Linnea hopes that he will elaborate so that tension will dissipate.

Will, along with other priests, was standing behind Scrag on the balcony. He's minding his own business when hear some crackling. He assumed that it is from the women on fire, but he was wrong. As soon as the balcony turn to pieces, Will change into his troll form before he lands on the group. He did manage to save Scrag, but not other priests. He return back to his human form as he look at the priests who did not survive.
"Great...." he mutter before he began searching for the elf who is behind the attack.
It might be hard, but Will doesn't care either way. All he was told that if he did find the elf, he can kill him off. [dice=6][rand=2658676262876346505979816701614340144626857367351086656458591676]

Post by Kaschei Bessmertny on May 27, 2009 22:35:05 GMT -5
Kaschei realizes that he must have some sort of time spell himself, which is why the earlier incident was not effective. The flames crush the balcony, and once again, Kaschei freezes time....with the intent of setting things back a moment. For the time being, he just pauses time. With every thing frozen, he speaks to the elf. He steps across the frozen pieces of falling balcony to converse, even though, the elf cannot speak, he figures perhaps he can communicatie telepathically.
"Hello. Who are you? You must have some sort of time spell, since it is my belief that I sent you to the future...for you to die when the world ends. I thought I was the only one with time based powers in this world. So then, perhaps you can clue me in to your intent and the origins of your power." Kaschei says calmly and curiously.
"I am going to rewind time until you pick a...different moment to fight. You see, it is just a matter of preference. Perhaps you could try...the parade. For I assure you, if you attack now, I will simply kill you while you are frozen here."
(this is the admin, I would like to postpone the fight for the parade, since that would be less dramatic and allow for more events and posting to play out before another large fight. The parade will likely be sometime next week.)
