Dragons
Dragons were created by Louhi, a Finnish woman who became a sorceress and later a dark goddess.
There are no "good" dragons or "bad" dragons, but all dragons feel some loyalty to Louhi, who they see as their mother. Furthermore, all dragons can be controlled by Louhi.
Dragons act as individuals, irrespective of color. So colored dragons can be good, bad, neutral, etc as can chromatic dragons. As a general rule, dragons tend to be destructive, vain, arrogant, and seek wealth (for some reason or another). That is why, in order to play as a dragon in the rpg, you have to play as a character who is involved with a business, the Manalists, or something with power/wealth.
Dragons in this rpg tend to be European style.
Dragons can breathe fire, ice, death, acid, and other things, but, I will leave it up to the player to decide what sort of breath and powers to asign the dragon.
Dragons are long lived, but according to this time line, none would be older than when Louhi created them. So, they would not be over 5,000 years old (about).

Demons
Demons were created by Hiisi, who is either a demon, troll, or goblin sort of character in Finnish myth. In other words, he was an evil spirit of some sort.
He lived in part of the underworld known as Hiitola, which is where demons primarily live.
There are many kinds of demons, from those who have horns and look like monsters, to those who take the form of humans or animals.
Here are some of the demon types you can play as:
Domovoi
This is a Russian house demon. In the rpg, these demons can take the form of any sort of household animal, such as a cat, dog, mouse, fly, or anything other domesticated animal. In the rpg, they protect homes and tend to be good demons that are helpful to humans. (In Russian folklore, this may not be the case) They can be male or female and have a human form as well as animal form. The human form may have cat ears, tail, or other animal like features.
Lesheii
This is a Russian forest demon in the rpg. In the rpg, these demons live in the forest and can take the form of any wild animal. They may maintain animal like features in their human form. They are more wild and less friendly and helpful to humans. They can be tricky and cruel.
Succubus/Incubus A sort of demon that can take human form and that excels at seducing humans. They tend to be devious and cruel to humans.

Elves
Light Elves Most elves of this sort currently live in hiding in the Frisian Islands. There are not many left in the world because the Manalists have actively sought to get rid of those who refuse to convert to Manalism, and...they tend to disagree with the religion and the world economic system. They generally support Monarchy and the worship of the goddess and god Mielikki and Tapio who created them. Though, some live just fine in human society and are not religious.
Example of light elf characters:
Haakon Raghnall
Dark Elves
Dark elves were created by the Goddess of Pain, Loviatar, whom they still worship, although she is dead. They live underground, so, they are not impacted by the Manalists as much as other races would be. They live in a violent, matriarchal, monarchic society that is currently involved with a civil war. Most live under Finland and Scandanavia. Some surface to join the Manalists and generally make good torturers, priests, religious soldiers, or members of the Invisible Hand. They tend to have white hair and black, gray, or dark colored skin.
Example of a Dark Elf character: Kith Keitoleinen
Moon Elves These are rare, nocturnal elves with dark hair and blue skin. They live similarly to Light Elves, but tend to live in remote, Northern regions. They tend to be more religious than light elves, but are also less concerned about Tapio or Mielikki. They worship their own, local gods, which are something of their own invention. They are well adjusted to cold climates, but due to climate change, they lost some of their traditional lands. They are often hunted because they worship gods other than Father Manala and they happen to live in areas where Manala crystals are found. The largest populations of Moon elves are to be found in Northern Canada and Northern Russia.
Wild Elves These look like light elves for the most part, but they live in remote regions of the world in less advanced societies. They live in small communities and sustain themselves through fishing, hunting, or gathering. They are looked down upon by other elves as being primitive. If they were to join any group, they might have an interest in the Enlightened Brotherhood, but for the most part, they stay out of the affairs of other races. They are isolationists. There are not many in the world because of deforestation and the privatization of all property. When they are found on the property of a corporation, they are often killed. They wear their hair in Mohawks and generally wear home spun, Earthy clothes. At one time, Light Elves enslaved Wild Elves, but, nowadays, they are too busy worrying about the Manalists to enslave anyone. The largest population of Wild Elves is in the Brazilian rain forest.
Silver Elves
Silver elves are the only elves that were not created by Mielikki ,Tapio, or Loviatar (in the case of dark elves). They are not elves, but another race. However, since they have pointy ears and look elf like, they will be called Silver Elves for game purposes. Silver elves have white or silver hair and white or pale skin. They look a little like albino elves. They typically do not live outdoors, and in fact, dislike being outside. They also don’t care for music or the arts. They are more interested in history, learning, magic books, science, and other intellectual pursuits. They live longer than elves and have never had a community on Earth. They instead lived in Taivas, the realm created by Akka. This is where they traditionally recorded history and undertook learning. They created a temple of learning there. They lived in isolation from angels or Akka, keeping to themselves. They are thought to have been created by Ukko when he created the ugly races. They were created to be ugly, giant creatures with long faces, bent backs, and snarled hair. Akka took pity on them and turned them into something beautiful. She told them that they could live with her in her realm Taivas. They tend to be more neutral, but, will join good or bad causes to gain knowledge or sometimes, to gain power through knowledge. They are more skilled at mental attacks and plane shifting than other elves. After the war of the Gods, Akka died, and the remaining silver elves went to Earth to seek refuge there. There are very few left in the world.
Example of a Silver Elf-
Charon Desjardins-professor of Theology at Helsinki University

Angels
Angels were created by the goddess Akka, but due to the conflicts between gods, many were wiped out. Angels essentially look like humans with wings, although they vary from having 2 sets to up to 6 sets of wings. Angels tended to be good and serve Akka or “good” gods, which is why many of them were wiped out. Angels tend to be good at the arts, especially music. They are also thought to be more attractive than ordinary humans. They can live thousands of years, but there are very few old angels around due to the fact that they would have been killed either by Keitoleinen or the Manalists. The realm of angels is a place created by Akka called Taivas. Taivas is eternally spring time, moderately warm, flowering, and as a whole, peaceful and beautiful. Taivas is largely uninhabited now that the angels are mostly dead, but, it can still serve as a sanctuary for angels. It features a fountain that heals wounds. It also has a garden labyrinth which can help to clear the mind of bad thoughts or sadness.
Examples of Angel Characters:
Calithin Crest- the head of Crest Mining
Linnea Korpela- an artist who lives in Helsinki.

Androids
Most androids are created by either Sota or Intelligent Design. They are made to look human and are generally powered by Manala crystals.
Creditors- Creditors are a type of android created by Sota. They work for Global Bank and make sure that people are paying their bills. They are always looking for people who have bad credit. The Creditors hunt and intimidate people into paying their debts. They call their enemies The Debtors. All Creditors have pink hair and most wear business attire. Most Creditors have eye lasers, though some can fly, and others can even travel though telephones to teleport themselves at the home of a Debtor during a collections call. All Creditors have names that start with the letter A followed by a number. All Creditors are loyal to Annette Rosenthal, the head of Global Bank.
Example of Creditors:
Akira 69- a malfunctioning Creditor
Annika 25- a functioning Creditor.
Dayspring Model Androids- Dr. Dayspring, a scientist for Sota, has a line of realistic androids created to serve corporate interests. They are usually created as soldiers, but can also serve as secretaries and so on. They look human, for the most part, and are known for having personalities and being nearly indistinguishable from organics. They are higher quality machines than the Creditors, which tend to lack personality. Dr Dayspring is a British scientist who works for Sota’s lab in London. That lab creates fewer, but higher quality machines. The machines have names like Hope 98, Fate 100, Destiny 99, Misery 101, etc. but the machines also have full names such as Hope Dayspring, Fate Hargrave, etc so that they fit into society better. Serial numbers start at 90 and so far, go up to 130.
Intelligent Design Androids- Intelligent Design androids usually look Asian and as such, have Japanese names. They vary in abilities. The most popular type of Intelligent Design android is the Japanese School Girl Model or JSGM. JSGMs look identical to Japanese School girls, complete with uniform and oftentimes even with an interest in pop culture, anime, and fashion.

Cyborg
Most cyborgs would be created by Sota or Intelligent Design. Cyborgs are humans that have some machine parts, or machines with some human parts.
Individuals with some skills in robots could potentially alter their own body to give it cybernetic enhancements, but this would take money and skills. A person with money might be able to pay Sota or Intelligent Design to enhance their body.

Fairies
Fairies, like angels, were created by Akka. They however, live on Earth instead of Akka’s realm, called Taivas. They have a strong connection to Ruwai and to plants in general. Fairies can bond so closely to plants that if the plant dies, they will die with it. The true form of fairies tends to be very small…smaller than a human hand. Wings usually are insect like, looking either like butterfly wings or dragonfly wings, with dragonfly wings being the most common. Fairies tend to have colored skin, such as blue, pink, yellow, peach, or so on. They also have black, bug like eyes and small pointed ears. However, most fairies can turn into a larger, human life form, which is human sized, may have flesh colored skin, and may or may not retain the wings. Fairies are good at learning Manala energy. Most fairies are concerned with flowers and the environment, so they don’t usually work for corporations or the Manalists. Because of the environmental problems in the world, there are few fairies around.
Examples of Fairy Characters-
Asphodel- Charon’s companion
Shura Kropotkin- a map store owner in Helsinki

Humans
Most scientific people in the rpg believe that humans evolved from apes. Even educated Manalists believe this. However, uneducated people are taught by the Manalists that humans were created by Father Manala and that originally, all humans were male. The legend is of two brothers who wanted to appease Father Manala. One gave the gift of meat and was blessed and the other gave the gift of vegetables and was cursed. The cursed brother castrated himself which is said to be the origin of women.
Examples of Human Characters:
Ariel Tal Shachar- The Moderator
Anthony West- a Genetech Scientist
Ophelia Vespera- a florist Genetech Soldiers
Genetech soldiers are a type of human that is lab created and better at learning Manala energy that ordinary humans. All Genetech soldiers have white hair. The soldiers were created through experiments using the DNA of Surma Keitoleinen which Genetech obtained years ago. They are not demi gods, but the experimental humans are stronger and better at Manala energy than most. All Genetech soldiers work for either Genetech or one of the companies that has purchased the soldiers.
Genetech Drones
Genetech drones are humans that were created through an egg and sperm donation program. They are less powerful than humans, on average, since they were created to be unpaid labor. They were created to be workers that companies can buy for dangerous, unpleasant, or hard to employ work as a replacement for wage workers. Drones are also used to replace workers during times of strikes, or in the event of a labor shortage. They live, on average, less than ordinary humans and are also more prone to disease. They start working as children and continue to work until they die. Genetech drones do not have mothers and fathers that they identify with. They simply have donors who contributed to their genetics. They were gestated by machines and never raised to know a family.
Example of Genetech Drones:
Heikki Toivonen- who was created by Genetech to work on a strawberry farm.
Genetech clones and other creations
Genetech creates clones and sometimes creates humans not for the purpose of being soldiers or workers, though, those are by far the most common uses for Genetech creations.
Mutants
Mutants live mainly in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Because of the radiation in those areas, some humans have experienced mutations. Mutations can often times make a person weaker or deformed, or, in rare cases, they can grant the individual extra powers and abilities that most humans don't have.

Mythological Animals
This encompasses animals from mostly Finnish and Russian myth, although others could exist. Usually they were created by one of the Finnish gods long ago. There are some that might simply be animals that mastered Manala energy and were able to become exceptional or supernatural. Examples of Mythological animals are the Swan of Tounela, The Russian Firebird, Hiisi’s reindeer, Gramayun the Russian bird of prophesy and so on. Some of these animals died in the battle of the Gods, but others live on Earth, in secret. Some can take human form, others just hide away from society.

Ruwai
Ruwai are plant people who were created by the god Tapio long ago. They were created to personify various plants. Ruwai are quick to learn Manala energy, in fact, they pick it up the quickest, even if they are not the most powerful race. They can take the form of a human and all of them are bisexual and able to switch genders at will. Their true form is either the plant they are based on or a humanoid looking plant person with green skin, leaf markings on the skin, wild-petal like hair, and vines/leaves/sticks/etc growing out of their backs.
Ruwai are somewhat isolated from each other and don’t worship any god in particular. Most believe that their origins are that they evolved from plants or that long ago, plants had the power to become human…if they have any belief at all on the matter.
Ruwai are often hunted by the Manalists since some have drug like properties (Morning Glory, Coca Plant) but also because they can use Manala energy more easily than some other races. Ruwai are used to power the Dreamers, which are machines operated by the Manalists to alter how people perceive reality.
The Ruwai have two secret refuges, one in Madagascar and the other on the Isle of Skye. Ruwai are highly sought, and some do work for the Manalists and Invisible Hand.
Examples of Ruwai characters:
Hilja Kukkanen- a socialist rebel
Tristan Tuzanic- a Manalist soldier
Rose Hoito- the daughter of Dr. Hoito

Spirits/Nymphs/Muses
They have many names, but they are essentially the same thing. They are human like beings who are immortal and who protect plants, animals, the arts, rivers, rocks, seas, and so on. They work on behalf of the god and goddess who created them: Tapio and Mielikki. They tend to be solitary, staying near the thing that they protect. If they do group up, it is usually into small groups of the same sex. Since the environment is being destroyed, there are fewer of these protectors of nature. They look like humans but tend to be more attractive and are much longer lived. Their main concern is the thing that they protect. In most cases, they are assigned a single stream, animal or type of tree and have powers based on the thing they protect. There can also be elemental spirits, such as water spirits, fire spirits, wind spirits, and so on.
Example of a Spirit/Nymph/Muse Character-
Sakari Lehtinen- a water nymph

Trolls- Trolls are ugly, but strong creatures with a taste for human flesh, or any flesh for that matter. They are generally cruel, but often times can disguise themselves as humans. The Manalists are not actively against Trolls since some are willing to join the Manalists, companies, or the Invisible Hand. Trolls usually come from Scandanavia.

Ursarians- Ursarians are a race of people that can turn into bears. They usually live in wilderness areas and form small communities. They have tribes based on the color or type of bear that the person turns into. So, clans are White Bear, Brown Bear, Sun Bear, Black Bear, and so on. Ursarians usually have tan skin and might even look Native American or Native Northern European. They wear natural clothes and are naturally much stronger than humans. Their bear form differs from a regular bear in that it is sometimes over 2 times larger than a wild bear.
Ursarians can be stubborn, aggressive, and angry. They usually care about nature, which can put them at odds with the Manalists. Ursarians were nearly wiped out by an android created by Sota, called Fayte. The Ursarians usually live in remote places, although there is a sizeable population in the United States, Russia, and Canada. Ursarians worship the bear God, Otavious and his wife Kuu. They were created by Otavius.
Examples of Ursarian Characters-
Genki Kurokawa- the son of Momo Kurokawa and an Ursarian
