"This is going to be a long ride. Maybe we should play a game. Like...that alphabet game where you have to find something outside the window that starts with each letter of the alphabet." Armin suggests. He looks out the window for something that starts with the letter A.
"Letter A...let's see....letter A....ah, Allmart store...okay, letter B....B, B, B..."

Max nodded. The moderator was exactly right. They needed to figure something out and gain a bit more information.
"Well if you guys need ANYTHING, just let me know. MTV would be glad to help in any way possible to locate her." He shut the computer off and slid back to his desk.
"I may need to take you up on that. As i believe some of my top guys are coming down with the sickness. Damn those laws. The people need medicine."
He got up from his desk, switching to his cellular now, and wandered over to the door, shutting off the light and closing the door. He had a meeting to attend to in 30 minutes.
"Mr Moderator, i'd like to meet up with you some time this week. When works for you?"

I've mostly been quiet, but, it is because I am starting to feel sick. I feel run down and my body aches. I am sitting next to Attis, who smells bad. At least my nose is starting to feel a little stuffy.
This van ride is going to take forever, I think. But, I do feel safer now that we are moving.
"We should come up with a name for the anarchist group. It's probably the most productive thing that we can do right now." I state.
"We mentioned Black Bloc earlier, how about, Anarchist Collective. I like that...I like the word Collective."

"I'm busy everyday this week, so any day is as good as the next." The Moderator states. "I'm going to review some video footage from the Holy Week events. Maybe I can figure out who kidnapped the Speaker. If you would like to view them as well, you are welcome to help me. But, I understand if you are too busy. I feel that I must be more proactive in trying to uncover what is going on in the world. Especially since many of my typical staff are themselves feeling ill." The Moderator states. Just then he gets a call from Genetech. Some early lab results are in. The disease is indeed a virus...an unknown flu virus.
"I just got a message from Genetech. As suspected it is a flu. Go ahead and broadcast a public service announcement about hand washing and staying away from those who are sick.. but, nothing more."

"You guys should pick a funny name. Like, I used to be a part of a coed volleyball team and we called ourselves Sets on the Beach. You should call yourselves something funny and clever." Armin suggests. He continues to look out the window for something that starts with the letter B.
"Beach! of course...now C....c...c..." He mutters. "Car!" He shouts. "D...d...d....d"

"Sets on the Beach? I don't get it." Kasper replies to Armin. He actively tries to find something that starts with the letter D. "Don't listen to Armin. I like the word collective as well. It should be something serious so people take you guys seriously." Kasper says very seriously. "Dog...there's a dog."
Kasper starts looking for something that starts with the letter E.
After a while, Allwhere is behind them and they head into smaller suburbs and worse roads. The roads are still pretty good. Florida is at least somewhat well maintained.

Max was busy hustling through the halls of MTV making his way towards the parking garage. "This matter is more pressing than the meeting i had scheduled this afternoon. How does today work? I'd love to view the footage. I just need to know where you are at right now. Everyone has been moving around that i have not been able to keep track."
He stopped his secretary in the hallway, and quick told her to send out a public service advisory.
"The advisories are being sent out now. Hopefully it will help contain it some what. People just need to be smart."
He flung the door open to the garage and walked down a few spaces, hitting the unlock button to his jet black Mercedes sedan.

Ariel states that it is fine to meet later and hangs up the phone. While he is waiting for Max to arrive, he spends some time on the phone with Genetech. Genetech is busy trying to identify the new flu and develop a vaccine. Even though the vaccine won't help those now suffering from the flu, it will at least be critical in stopping the spread of it.
Ariel makes a few other calls. He calls Global Bank and leaves a message for Annette that unused or decommissioned Creditor androids be used as workers at various companies experiencing labor shortages. He makes a call to Sota and Intelligent Design asking that they too donate any unused robots and androids to ward off any labor shortages.

The big black german sedan whisked along the motorway at high speed, Max not caring about the authorities as they were all on other assignments.
He picked up his phone and dialed a few numbers, making sure everything was in order and that the public service announcement was being played on every TV and every radio. He did a test by turning on his radio, which immediatly began to play the announcement. Perfect.
He dialed another number and made sure to let his associastes know that the meeting was cancelled as he had more pressing issues to attend to.
Once everything was dealt with, Max dipped into the accelerator and picked up speed for the last few kilometers.
He swooped off the motorway gracefully and flew along some side streets, eventually winding up at a building with underground parking. He pulled it and parked. He was greeted by a man who escorted him inside and up stairs. He then waited for the moderator in a little sitting room.

Some time later, Ariel is called and informed that Max has arrived. He meets him of the lobby of the large building for the World Economic Council, in Switzerland. He shakes Max's hand and leads him to his office.
"Genetech is working on learning more about the disease. I've also called the Artz Lehrer pharmaceutical company about perhaps making anti viral medications available." The Moderator explains before taking a seat in his office. After both are seated, he turns on a small flat screen Tv behind his desk.
Black and white footage of Holy Week appears. It was taken from some of the video cameras that monitor the streets of Rome. It shows clearly an elf who grabs Li Violette and pulls her away. The crowd and the giant body of the Ice Elemental cover where she is taken.
"Does that elf look familiar?"

I am put in a room that looks something like a cellar, chained up, and left for hours. I was hoping that the elf would talk to me or give me some information about his cause, but instead, he hasn't said a word. This is very disappointing. I think I could easily escape, but I want more information. So, I wait. I make a mental picture of the elf...his mannerisms, how he dresses, how he looks. I have no idea why he has kidnapped me...for money? Likely for political change. I don't really know much about the concerns of elves. Maybe it is some environmental concern.

Max exchanged greetings with the moderator, who was pleasing to finally meet. He followed the man into his office and took a seat in a big comfortable chair.
He watched as the man brought around a small TV screen. He then proceeded to play some video footage depicting a small elf snatching the speaker. The video soon cut out afterwards. The man asked if he recognized the elf on the video and Max shook his head. He didn't congregate in public much, so he hadn't the faintest clue who it could have been.
"No, i am not quite sure who that could have been. Does the World Economic Council have any way of depicting the elf?"

When Keitoleinen learns that other companies also have experienced the flu epidemic, he becomes less upset. He honestly believed that Intelligent Design or Genetech were behind the disease. He feels some relief and orders that old androids and robots be put to work replacing workers who are ill. At least production shouldn't slow too much.
After things seem to be in order, Keitoleinen teleports to Allwhere to talk to Dinari and Calithin about the flu. He wants to see how it has impacted them. He is especially interested in hearing what Calithin has to say, since Keitoleinen depends on Manala crystals to power his machines.
Keitoleinen teleports to Dinari's office and at once notices Dinari, Peter, and Calithin.
"Hello everyone. I suppose you've already heard about that flu that's going around." Keitoleinen states.

"Elves are a dying breed. You don't see many any more unless they work for us or the Manalists. In any event, the Speaker is more powerful than she lets on. She could probably take care of herself, but, the elf's actions are bold. I have called upon the Invisible Hand to find her, but they are busy right and many are sick." Ariel explains. He replays the footage. He is also perplexed by the ice creature.
"The ice creature is also something. It was very powerful and the Manalists had some difficulty dealing with it. The elf summoned it somehow. Do you know anything of Manala energy or using powers?" Ariel asks. Ariel is human and weak. He has no Manala powers and relies on the Invisible Hand to protect him.

Linnea froze when Kith headed toward the changing rooms, she forgot about this part of going to the beach. She was very modest and putting on a bathing suit and walking around everyone terrified her. Besides from being busy in Helsinki so long and being an angel, her skin was very pale. After this realization she was sure that she was ghost white.
Taking a deep breath she went into the changing room and put her one piece on, with a little skirt so that she felt a little covered. Embarrassed she emerged from the small tent. Her face was a deep shade of red.
