"I guess ultimately you get use to everything in life... So matter what it is or how it seems to other people. In the end, we all have entirely different and individual experiences on this earth. It's difficult to ever really relate or know anyone... But trying is certainly worth something."
I maneuver the boat to the left a little so we become parallel with the horizon and look out onto the water.
"I always try to catch the sunset when I do this. I'm glad we made it out in time... We should try to head back soon though. "

Tuesday looked out at the horizion. With all the pinks and blues and purples the sky looked amazing, that was really the only way to put it.
She returned her gaze to him. "Do you do this a lot in your spare time?"

"Do I take girls out on my boat alot? Oh, yeah. I take girls out on my boat all the time. All. The. Time."
Not really.
"I'm just kidding... I go sailing as often as I can with work and everything, but I usually do it alone, so this is an interesting change. I hope you've had a good time. You're a pretty good first mate."
I smile and bring the boat around, heading us back toward the dock as the sun continues to move down across the sky.

"I meant do you go sailing a lot in your spare time." Tuesday said, laughing. But he did answer.
"First mate? I thought I was the captain of this ship."
She looked back at the horizon, and then forward toward the dock Calithin was steering them to. "Can I steer again?" she asked, sounding a little like a young girl asking to drive.
As she awaits his answer, she thinks for a moment. "You never did act like a ghost."

"Well then, Captain, you can most definitely steer again... It's easier using the wheel, so I'll bring it back up for you."
I unlock the wheel and bring it to a steady position before handing it off to Tuesday.
"Just keep it steady and inch right."
I think about what she said about the ghost thing... I disappear behind the main sail for a minute, then come back to the bow with my shirt awkwardly draped over my head.
"I am the ghost of the famous pirate black beard... Except without a black beard, because that actually is just a misconception and I've always been clean shaven... But that's not the point... The point is I'm here to take over this boat. I've been haunting... Lakes in Helsinki... Randomly... Since my death... Woooooo..."
I make so much sense.

Tuesday took the wheel. And did as she was told until Calith...er the Ghost of Black Beard who is really clean shaven decided to haunt the boat.
"Well Black Beard, I'm the captain of this ship and I'm afraid that you simply can't take it over. Mostly because its Calithins and I'm pretty sure he would get angry if a ghostly pirate took over his boat while I was captaining it. So leave now!" She said, in a very commanding type voice.
"Otherwise I'll have to get Chuck Norris, and there is no force greater than Chuck Norris." Tuesday loves those silly Chuck Norris jokes.

"Uh oh... Not Chuck Norris... Unicorns went extinct because of him! I guess I'll leave... But beware when traveling these waters, because I lurk. I am super lurky. You don't even know how lurky. Luuuurkyyyy... Woooo..... Suuuuppppeeerrr luuuurrrkkkyyy.... Woooooo... Woooo...."
I slowly back away until I'm out of sight again and put my shirt back on, popping up next to Tuesday.
"Sorry, had to go... Tighten the... Doohicky... Did I miss anything important?"

Tuesday looked at Calithin, keeping the boat steady. "We were haunted by the ghost of black beard! Who was surprisingly clean shaven." she said. "But being the dutiful and responsible captain that I am, I threatened him with Chuck Norris and he ran away. And I don't think ghosts run."
She looked at him, with the straightest face she could muster. "Without me, your ship would've been apprehended with ghostly pirates, but stay on the lookout because he is very lurky."

"Oh! I hate it when they're lurky! That's the worst kind... Yeah. I get attacked by ghost pirates alot. You'd be completely surprised. I think Helsinki is like... The Los Angeles for ghosts. They like to hang around here. I see atleast two a week. Good thinking threatening him with Chuck Norris though. Very, very crafty."
I laugh a little and point to an enclave a few meters away.
"That's my dock. Let me just take down the main sail to slow us down and then we'll ease the boat in..."
I undo the main sail before stepping up behind Tuesday and helping her guide us toward the direction of the dock.

"I think it was pretty crafty too. Chuck Norris would be proud." Tuesday said.
When he stepped up behind her, she felt that familliar sensation of butterflies in her stomach, it struck her as silly and childish, she shook her head to rid herself of the feeling, then realized that Calithin was right behind her, and she probobly whipped him with her hair.

Hair is a little distracting and hard to see through when it's in your face, I'm not gunna lie... So, I move my head to the side a little and then expertly help Tuesday steer the boat into my dock. After that I take down the minor sails and anchor the boat... Making sure to tie a secure knot on the main pully.
"This was a pretty myth-worthy day I think."
I step off the boat, and then help her down as well and call the car to come pick us up at the end of the dock.
"We'll drop you off at your hotel unless there's somewhere else you need to be tonight? I don't like to assume that everyone is a loser and goes to bed as early as I do. I am a very sleepy guy."

"You totally missed the good part though. I thought I would be petrified by the clean shaven ghost of black beard, but I maintained my cool pretty darn well." Tuesday said, after he helped her down from the boat.
"Theres no where else I need to be." She says. "I'm just as much of a loser as you are and go to sleep early." She smiles lightly, letting him know that she was joking about him being a loser.

"Good to know I'm not alone. I think sleep is underrated. People take it for granted. I don't know what I'd do if I ever became an insomniac. That would be horrible."
We walk to the end of the dock and when the car pulls up I open the door for her, letting her get in and then sliding in next to her. I give the driver directions to the hotel and lean my head back against the seat; closing my eyes.
"I had a good time time, Captain."

"I wouldn't know how to kill all that time if I was an insomniac. I think I'd go insane." Tuesday replied, seriously contemplating this.
She smiled at him, even though he had his eyes shut and couldn't see her. "I did too. You made a very good first mate. I wouldn't have been able to run the boat without you." That was mostly because this was the first time Tuesday had ever been sailing before, but she was still the captain.

I open one eye a little and look over at her.
"Thanks, I try to be as helpful as possible. But it was all you... You defended the boat against pirate ghosts. It's quite the accomplishment, really... They're tricky though. Who knows when another one might pop up?"
In no time the car arrives at Tuesday's hotel and I get out to open the door for her and walk her to her room.
