Nadi then put her hand dawn as she was being to get this uneasy felling in her she then picked up her bag and stood up then looked around walking away from the bench and along a walk side not really sour of why she was feeling uneasy but did know that when she did feel like this it meant something bad. She sighed * well at lest I don’t have to walk in the rain no more* she tot to her self the then smirked at herself and continued to walk around the city “maybe there’s a bonk around here I could use some money to get something to eat” she whispered to her self as she looked around for the royal bank

Ceph had decided to pick up the pace. He had jumped up to a street light post and began to shoot from one to the next at a very fast pace.. the wind blared through his hair, making his clothing waver from his skin.. he was catching up to her..
Soon enough, he spotted his target and took one large leap forward, raising his leg up into the air, flexible enough to bring it above his head.. As he was coming down, he swung down his leg to slam it down ontop of her skull.. an attempt for a silent knockout.. but if she was an assassin, he knew that it probably wouldn't be that easy.

Tuvi also recieves a copy of the contract Dinari made with Kachsei... and curses really low in her throat. She wasn't feeling well as it was.
"What to do... what to do?" Tuvi chants to herself, tapping her lips. She knows this ruins the plans Peter and Dinari had.

Bambi felt her muscles tense slightly, her smile faltering for a moment before she was able to keep her chipper expression in place. "Yes, in fact, he was the one I had the meeting with. It seems Mr. Dollar was busy most of the morning. He's a very interesting man."

Post by Tuesday DeCastro on May 23, 2008 14:04:04 GMT -5
Having worked dilligently before going to bed last night, Tuesday was already done with her article. Usually, she didn't work so quickly but she was really excited to get this one done, and extremly pleased with the product. Being the early bird that she is, she got up and took the article to two places, a local daily newspaper which would print it later in that days edition, and a global paper, which would print it the next week.
She caught a bus back to her hotel and killed a few hours, straightening up, and moving herself in a bit, as she planned on staying there for a while. Before going down to a newstand and picking up the local paper. She searched for a few moments, then smiled and leaned against the side of a building, reading her article.
'I walked into a local trendy coffee shop, and immediately spotted Calithin Crest sitting in the corner, paitently awaiting my arrival. Mr. Crest, the owner of Crest Mining International, is a very complex and interesting man. Commited to his work, he told me of new mines opening in Guatemala, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and hopefully Cuba, which will be running in six months or less. As past work in Brazil and Argentina (both of which Calithin owns) has been exceptionally successful, these mines have high expectations.
Although he left his sunglasses at home, Mr. Crest was very clear that he is a bit of a hipster, however not big on appearences, as he is not all that shallow, he has a very different concept of beauty in fact he told me he "sees beauty as an architect sees buildings." Attractive as he is, Calithin admitted that he is living the single life. Though he does eventually want to make a long term commitment, and it doesn't have to be with someone as financially successful as himself. He also proved himself quite the gentlemen, he paid for my coffee, shared a cab with me, holding the door open for me as i got in and out, helped me find a hotel to stay in, walked me to my room, and even, eat your hearts out here ladies, kissed my cheek as he said goodbye.
When asked if there was anything else he wanted to share about the new mines opening or about Crest Mining International, Caltihin replied by saying "I just want people to know that Crest mining fuels the world. We do what we do to keep everything going. We are the motor of the world and completely dedicated to the people and their needs. Every action we make is designed to provide a more efficient, better product for the people. Nothing is more important to us than the consumer."
She smiled, tucking the article into her purse, then hailed a taxi, directing it to Calithin's office. She wanted to show off her work. Once she arrived there, she debated outside his door weather he should knock or go right in, in the end deciding to knock.

Alrick's eyes seemed to narrow slightly at Bambi's faltering smile.
Interesting, he thought.
"Well then, so much the better. I was wondering if he left you a phone number or some other means of contact, I'd very much like to get a hold of him to discuss some other business ventures I have in mind," Alrick said with a smile.

Peter sat in silence, trying to think of how to adjust his planning. The mafia's presense would complicate matters but not greatly. Still, their interference annoyed him greatly. Best thing to do would be to give them some wounds to lick for awhile so he could move things in this part of the world that much faster.
First order of business was to reroute some of the clean-up equipment through the gulf. A fair amount of the inland Gulf of Mexico was just as messed up as America proper but one could get through in places. He planned to have them hit along the Texas/Louisanna border and start removing waste materials. Load the boats, sail it south, and drop it into the Malvinas Current. Anything that eventually reached the US again would have to travel half the world's oceans to do it. It might turn the South Pole into a waste land but hell it already was one so who cared?
Something to distract the Russian crime families... He smiled. He had an idea.

"I'm sorry sir, he didn't, but I left my number with him. He said he would probably make a call soon, shall I direct his call to you?" Bambi questioned, shifting her footing.
She knew Alrick was sure to have spotted her slight falter, but he was either not going to bother asking or inquire later. She felt relieved at that, at least. Though if he did ask later, what could she possibly say? No need to worry about it now, she figured.

Tuvi picks up her PDA and sends Peter a message: I need to talk to you.
She figures Peter would know about this already and would have a plan. Any plan he has, she needs to know about.

Peter checked his phone when it beeped. Tuvi wanted to see him, eh? That was different. Well, he thought as he rose, she must have heard about their new business partners...
He made his way through the building to Tuvi's office, such as it was, and walked in without a knock. "You rang, babe?"

Tuvi sighs and leans back in her chair. "I know you heard about what happened..."
"This is bullshit. How'd the mafia get to Dinari, Peter?"

"Oh, they didn't make an appointment with you?" Peter asked, scratching his head, his tone mocking. "Well, that was rude of them, wasn't it?" He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against Tuvi's desk.
"The guy walked right in, I went back and watched the security footage. Needless to say I terminated our security contractor, we'll need a new one. I also fired the people at the desk who let him just walk by." He knew some blame lay with him but he'd be damned before I let anybody give him crap about it.
"Guy was gone by the time I got there. Dinari's pretty shaken up, he's been at his house since. I've got all the Genetech soldiers available with him, he's as safe as possible for the present."
Peter uncrossed his arms and rubbed his eyes, lifting his glasses to do so. "God, this pisses me off! After all that work they just cut in on us?!"

"You realize some of the blame lays with both of us." Tuvi says quietly. "But blame is besides the point. What are we gonna do?"
