Chapter 7:A Beauty That's Thin, White, and Rich

[Lena Eva Aysel]

After a short nap, Lena decided to go for a walk, possibly search for leads on the rebel newspaper. Changing into a light dress, she brushed her hair and left Ariel's estate via teleportation booth to Helsinki.

Once there, she comes across a woman who seemed embarrassed talking to an obvious zealous Manalist. Pursing her lips, she decided to intervene on a random notion. Walking toward the two, she smiled pleasantly. "Oh, hello there." She states nicely, as if she had almost walked into them on accident.

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor was about to respond to Pyry when another woman joined them. The woman was unfamiliar to Taylor, and she wondered if perhaps she was a friend of Pyry's. She smiled at her pleasently.

"Hi." She responded, unsure of what else to say.

[Pyry Korpela]

One sniff was enough Vampire he could tell “hello miss” he did not ask for her name it was funny bumping into two women in one day. He wondered if she knew who or what he was. “By the way my name I Pyry many people find it hard to say” he watched the vampire wondering what her game was.

"Sorry to just butt my head into this conversation." Lena apologizes, studying the man out of the corner of his eye. Suddenly recognizing the woman, she groped for a reason to be intervening. "You're Ms. Jones, correct? Of Crest Mining?"

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor cocked an eyebrow slightly when the woman knew her name and occupation. "Yes...I'm Taylor Jones and I am a secretary for Crest Mining." She said, biting her bottom lip for a moment. She hesitated for a moment before adding. "Might I ask who you are?"

She wondered if she was in any sort of trouble. The woman didn't have pink hair, and she wasn't in debt so it wasn't a creditor. Perhaps she knew of her ties to the Socialist Revolution. Taylor was, somewhat visably, nervous.

[Pyry Korpela]

Pyry placed his hand in front of the crest woman “I think you should back up” he did not know why she was afraid but a vampire could smell fear. Fear meant that they would attack it was weakness. “We can all be nice here” he moved his coat flashing her a view of his gun. Her eyes lit up. “why don’t we all just find somewhere inside were we can talk, Taylor you’re place is close”

Lena idly raised an eyebrow, greatly amused at the direction this suddenly took. She wondered why Taylor seemed nervous, she was the secretary of a well-known company, so it shouldn't have been too much of a surprise for Lena to know her name. Maybe this could be useful in her investigation of the rebel newspaper after all, though Pyry was a problem.

"Who isn't being nice?" She questioned calmly. Why would a Manalist care about being inside to do something? More than likely he was trying to use his gun to cause fear in one or both of them. Usually, it was the Manalist style to make a display out of things. But what had either of them done wrong?

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor looked at Pyry, wondering why he showed her his gun. Did he plan on using it? "I don't think you'll be needing that, Pyry." She said, not wanting any trouble. The woman seemed to be amused by his reaction.

She shrugged, still feeling a little apprehensive, Taylor was a little paranoid sometimes. "I suppose if you two would be more comfortable we could head to my apartment..." She said, a little unsure why they would all need to talk in private.

[Pyry Korpela]

He knew the black bloods they could and would attack humans but only if they saw weakness. He closed his coat “sorry about that I was a cop for a while” he smiled turning around. “If I scared you I did not mean to” what was a vampire doing talking to humans to vampires humans were food. He began to walk the way the woman had been walking when the collided. “you know its just not safe just last night a woman was found dead drained of blood”

At his statement, Lena finally realized what was going on... And had to cover her mouth to stop herself from bursting out laughing. He had mistaken her ice maiden blood for vampirism. She wasn't sure how he could tell she wasn't human... Unless he was with that Wrath group, which made it all make sense.

She did not feel like dealing with this, and hell if she was going to correct him. "Ms. Jones, would you mind coming with me instead? I really must speak with you about some business. My name is Eva, I work with Global Bank." She introduced herself, deciding it was the best way to get rid of this Pyry character.

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor watched Eva stifle laughter with her hand, and wondered what had amused her. Global Bank? She also wondered why someone from Global Bank was sent to take care of business with her.

She ran a hand through her hair, thinking a moment. "Of course, Eva." She replied, feeling it was probobly best to just cooperate and find out what was going on rather than cause a scene, as Taylor wasn't one for scene causing anyway. "Please, lead the way."

She turns to Pyry. "It was nice meeting you." She said. "And, again, I'm sorry for bumping into you."

Lena waved to Pyry and left with Taylor, leading her in another direction to the right of Pyry. She knew it would circle around to lead in the same direction Taylor had probably been walking on before. Once they are out of sight of Pyry, she grins slightly.

"I don't work for Global Bank."

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor followed Eva accomodatingly, she was just about to ask why she had been sent to her, when she said that she didn't work for Global Bank, Taylor was confused.

"...What?"

She scratched her head in wonder, pondering why Eva had interjected into hers and Pyry's conversation, and then whisked her away if she didn't work for Global Bank.

"I'm not in any sort of...trouble, am I?" She asks, still a little nervous.

Lena laughed softly at Taylor's reply, shaking her head. "Nah, you aren't. But most people are terrified of the Manalist, and with good reason. I figured I'd bail you out." She stated, offering a smile.

"That guy worked for the Wrath, I think... and I think he thought I was a vampire." She bares her teeth as if she was a dog growling, perfectly lined teeth. "I vill suck yer blood!" For some reason, she was in a playful mood. Probably because the whole thing amused her so much.

[Taylor Jones]

Taylor exhaled deeply. "Thats a relief." She says, about not being in trouble. She was so paranoid about that sometimes.

Eva was right, Manalists did frighten her, but she was so oblivious while talking to Pyry, more concerned about the fact that she had run into him than anything else, that she hadn't really noticed he was a Manalist.

"You deffinately don't want to suck my blood. It's all nasty. Trust me." she states, laughing. Taylor doesn't believe in super natural beings like vampires, so she finds the fact that Pyry thought Eva was a vampire kind of hilarious.
