I like to reward good characters, or challenging characters, so I am going to start to give points to people for their characters when they join.
I will give 5 Character points for people playing as ordinary humans.
I will give 5 Character points for people playing as Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Native American/Aboriginal or Asian Characters.
I will give 10 points for people playing as unattractive characters (as in their avatar really isn't attractive by society's standards)
I will give 5 points for people playing as someone over the age of 45.
I may start giving out points for other qualities as well, but for now, those are what I am going to give points for.
The points really don't do much for you, but, maybe you can just be proud of yourself for having admin approval.
It may take me a while to go through the characters already in play and reward people accordingly.
If you notice your character has not been rewarded, please mention it in this thread.

So far, the characters with the most points are Kasper Schultz..since he is an ordinary human and unattractive and Scrag...who is unattractive and over the age of 45 in appearance.
I think the players who do the best on this front are Alexei (whose characters are usually always human and usually poor) and Fish/Zinn...who is not on this site at this time, but who always played as regular humans, often minorities, with disabilities, poverty, or other issues to deal with.
So yay for those folks!
(not that everyone else sucks, since there are many good characters, but I just like to praise those who do a good job playing challenging or more ordinary characters. I know I don't always set the best example on this front, but at least I can praise those who do!)
(I think that some other people who have done well with playing great characters were Alejos and Jose. Helene also tried some minority characters on YOA. So I will mention this as well.)

I am trying to come up with a way to reward you for character points. Feel free to reward each other when you think a character is doing a good job. Here are some rewards.
Characters that reach 50 points- I will put in my comic for a guest appearance
Characters that reach 75 points- If that member is not yet staff, I may offer them some sort of position
Characters that reach 100 points- maybe I will form some elite character club for well liked characters
Characters that reach 150 points- I will give you a phone call and do something stupid like sing or do my impression of Krang from the ninja turtles. (well, maybe I won't really do this...)
Characters that reach 200 points- I'll take you out to dinner. All you have to do is just show up where I live, provided you can figure out where that is and come up with the money to get there. But it has to be Mexican or Indian food...or the Communist themed Burrito place that I like.

Yeah, you've only got...lets see...192 points left.lol
Good luck to everyone, I don't live in America, so 200 points would be reletively worthless.

Psh. Mere peanuts.
Though, it'd be kinda cool to appear in the comic book. If only I could get the frickin comic to download.

Machiavelli is already in the comic in all his dark gothic sexiness...but thats because he was created by H...and played by me. I breathed life into him.
