Mine are Anthony West, Tyler Bargrin, and (soon to be) Dr. Lonnrot Kukkanen.

I personally think that nearly everyone should have multiple cahracters. It helps to show the many faces of them...

I am all for multiple characters since then a person never gets stuck waiting for someone to post back. There is always a character to play as.
I think it also diversifies the world. There are many beliefs/organizations or sorts of characters that can be played...so, I think it gives a chance to do various things in the plot.
For myself, I think that staff or the admin should have more than one character so they can interact with new people and keep things in the story moving and it gives other members somene to post with.

Bambi Engel, Lena Eva Aysel, and Rosette Bourbon are my three characters.
I enjoy playing multiple characters, and as Hilja said, it allows one to post even if another character of theirs is waiting for a reply.

Multiple characters work out for me, because I'll get into a mood and HAVE to make a new character somewhere or it will drive me insane lol

Honestly, I have trouble focusing on more then one char, so two is a big deal for me, heh.
I did wanna do Scrag cuz I thought it'd be cool to have an important, and influential character. I proly dun give him as much attention as I should, seeing as I focus on Alexei so much.
This is my trouble with multiple characters!

Yes. It is hard to focus on two characters ^^;
Thats why I made Gabriel rather, normal and uninfluential and Kaleb... A walking tank xD
One will get all the great action stories, while the other gets whatever is left lol

Mine's a geneticist 'cause I love science fiction and wanted to have a scientific-like character.
My other one's a demi-god assassin. He's my YOA character. He allows me live out a god-like existance.
My last one's a psycologist that allows me to live out my play-with-people's-minds thing.
