Lena watches Tuesday closely before shaking her head, smiling softly.
"No... I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell you. I had thought you had figured out most of this stuff before. I think I've figured some things out though."
She always thought it was funny how someone could find the answer once they voiced their problems.

Mollie watched Mistress's fingers dance across the keys, and smiled, listening to the sound.
When she had finished, Mollie looked to her and nodded. "I'm familiar with that piece." She said. "You played it really nicely."
"Really, I've never heard it played as well as you just played it."

Tuesday shrugged, shaking her head a bit. "Nah, I'd rather have you tell me than someone else."
"I'm sorry I couldn't say anything else to help." She smiled, and hugged her a little, before looking to the door of the bedroom. Her stomach growls a little.
"I dunno about you, but I'm getting kind of hungry. Care to raid my fridge?"

"You are?"
Mistress looks over at Mollie, as if really looking at her for the first time. She feels the crystal resting over her chest shift once again. She idly wonders if it would ever show its true self to mortal eyes.
"You're the first for many years. Many people simply have no taste for fine music anymore."

This hug was less shocking than the first. Lena nodded once more. Tueday's words made her feel a strange warmth.
"Sounds good. I like cold foods." She says with a light grin as they exit the bedroom.

Tuesday smiled. "Really? I wouldn't have guessed." She laughed a little as she exited the bedroom and walked into the kitchen. There wasn't much in her fridge...but there was enough.
She looked over at Malak, who was still sleeping, and looking pale. She turned her attention back to Lena.
"Hm, I dunno. Go for whatever you find in there." She gestured to the open fridge, before taking out what looked like an overly processed, slightly diseased apple. She took a bite, and pursed her lips. It was sour.

As much as he loved playing along with Alexei, Danny wouldn't be drinking much and he certainly wouldn't be doing more than flirting with any ladies they might meet. He had a woman to love - where ever she was - and, anyway, two buddies getting drunk was asking for trouble from the kind of people they needed to avoid.
He would be having fun just by having the company and he'd be on hand if Alexei got into hot water. Yeah, it looked like good times on the horizon as long as where they were going the folks didn't mind a bit of dirt on the carpet (he was always dirty and he had been napping in the sand when Alexei had called so he was caked in sand and grime).
"Best thing I've heard all day." He laughed, dusting his sandy clothes off a bit with his hands. It did avail him much, though.

Post by John Duddy on Jul 24, 2008 19:12:19 GMT -5
Finally, Dudd y knew all of these things were just distractions. He walked down the corridor passing many Manalist workers and officers. Again he advanced throuhg the check point with out a hitch. John managed to keep his cool around all of these enemies despite his constant paranoia. It was really Sy that was the main factor ion his thinking, with his mind on Sy everything else seemed simple. As soon as Duddy entered the hangar, he picked his plane. it looked like one of those old B-17 Flying Fortresses. It was huge with big bay doors big windows, sevral turrets and had enough lift to carry hundreds of tons of bombs. This was the ideal plane for John, it could hold all of the leaflets, could be seen from far away and held enough fuel, that when Duddy crashed it it would take out the Economic Center Building in Helsinki. John would drop his leaflets over the city, aim the plane at the penthouse of the ECB and then parachute out of the plane. John checked the plane to make sure no one else was on it, he called over two other Manalist mechannics. Using his false identity they helped him load the "special package" and then left the hangar. Its now or never Duddy thought to himself. Duddy removed the blocks from the lamnding gear and entered the plane. There were so many buttons in the cockpit that he did not know where to start. The buttons also had names on then, all written in Russian, but luckily for John he was fluent in Russian. He flipped the power, warm up and start buttons while making sure all the doors and hatches were securely locked. The engines kicked in and Duddy decided it was the perfect time to call Sy and tell her to make her way into Helsinki. He picked up his phone and called the cafe, Envy. Sy's boss answered and transfered the call to Sy's room. As the answering machine clicked on then Duddy left his message, "Sy, its Duddy, come to Helsinki for the night and stay around the party district ill meet you there around midnight, bye." Click. The Engines started and John grabbed hold of the stick, "Holy shit, here we go! he screamed. The plane started to move and Duddy drove it passed the hangar doors and out on the run way. By now John the Baptist was creating the diversion, just then he heard the explosion outside of the airbase. Alarms went off, soldiers ran around and Duddy taxied to the runaway and ghunned the engines. The plane roared and shot downt he run way, John felt the G force as the plane lifted off teh ground and he was on his way to Helsinki. Flying over the countryside he saw the light of the well lit city of Helsinki, and Duddy knew this was it. Flying relatively low over the country side he ascended when he entered the city limits. Duddy saw the ECB and in about 10 seconds he would open the hatch and let the package fly. 3... 2... 1... Fire! The bay doors opened and the leaflets left the plane. Duddy dipped the wing and the leaflets looked like snow falling. He straightened up and aimed towards the ECB. The next two minutes went by very slowly, Duddy aimed the plane at the penthouse. John left the stick and the plane shook a little as he put on the parachute. John then opened the fopward hatch and looked down at the city. Then... he... Jumped!!! He landed 3 blocks away from the party districted and did not evenlooked at the explosion of the plane hitting the building. All he was thinking about was seeing Sy again.

Alexei stepped off the plane after it had touched down in Moscow. He took off the shades and tucked them in a pocket in his blazer.
"Where do you want to go first?" He asks, turning to Danny.

Sy hears his voice on her machine. She had wanted to pick up the reciever but had resisted the urge. She didn't want to seem to desperate for...what? Affection? She didnt need that she thought. But she seemed to need something entertainment for sure. She was so bored waiting. And to cause trouble on her own always made her seem more and more hollow inside. Like more was being taken away.
She quickly changed clothes and grabbed her velvet bag stuffing it into a small backpack that she could wear on her back. She took her labor card and hung it around her neck running out the door looking for the nearest teleportation booth. She would get there quickly get a lay of the land and wait for him.
When she got there she walked around papers littered the streets all around. WHat was all of this? THey matched what had been in her bag. They matched what Duddy had put the note on. She looked overhead just in time to see the plane which had been depositing the leaflets combust into a firey blaze. She ran forward in confusion as the people in the party district began to panic and in a frenzy ran as debris even from 3 blocks away tumbled around.
Sy saw a parachute and she ran towards where she thought she saw it go down. She ran as fast as her combat boots would let her go her claws unsheathed just in case she came across someone other than Duddy. No need to be silent. She rushed right in calling for him in a hushed tone..."Duddy."

Danny felt like his teeth were trying to break themselves against one another as he rubbed his arms quickly along the opposing upper arms. He hadn't bothered to grab enough layers of clothing because he hadn't plnned on coming to Moscow when he'd gotten dressed.
"Peas and rice!" It had gotten colder and colder as they'd continued the plane ride away from the comfortable desert blaze (that had been when he first realized his lack of preparation) into this barren icescape. Winter had gotten out of the armchair and had taken his belt to this place's backside; there was a definite possiblity that his locks would snap off if he shook his head too much. He managed to get more words out.
"Too cold, find some place warm!"

Alexei nods and leads him from the airstrip where they're picked up and dropped off in front of what looks like an antique shop. He leads Danny down a set of stairs where techno music is blaring and many patrons are dancing. The many bodies in a somewhat smaller place make it quite a warm climate in the room.
He pats Danny on the back then takes out his phone as he moves a bit away so Danny doesn't hear. He wanted to take a somewhat more proactive approach to learning Tuesday's true allegiance then what Danny suggested.
He dialed Tuesday and waited for her to pick up.

Tuesday takes another bite of her sour apple, before grimacing and throwing it away. "Don't eat the apples, they're gross." She warns Eva.
She hears her phone ringing from the bedroom, where she'd left it after hanging up with Malak. She wondered how many phone calls she was going to get before the day was over. Glancing at the screen, she saw Alexei's name before pressing talk.
"Hey! How're you feeling?" She asks, brightly, remembering the last time she'd seen him.

"Much better." Alexei answers cheerfully, holding a palm to his other ear to block out the loud music.
"How've you been? I was actually talking to a friend of mine, Danny Crane, and you came up."

"Thats good to hear." Tuesday said with a smile, sitting on her bed, the springs creaked a little under her weight. She hears a lot of noise in the background, and has a little trouble hearing.
"Oh, Danny?" She says after a moment. "Yeah, I met him while I was at Genetech the other day."
"I came up? Nothing negative, I hope." She laughed a little.
