Getting it Started and Keeping it Alive

Okay, so, the rpg has been reopened, but, we still need to inject some life into it...and make sure it stays alive this time as an incentive to keep people posting..at least at a minimal level. So...what should be done.


1. Contact old members. There are still some old members who might be interested in coming back. If you know them or can contact them on AIM or Myspace, I would appreciate that...

2. Then, we need new members, since new members equals new ideas and character types

IF any of you are on other rpgs and can advertise this, please do. Or, if you have online friends who role play, please encourage them to join.


3. Commited Staff... Anthony has done a great job getting the site going again, but if anyone else wants to contribute to this, please do. I can't do much any more because I just work too much and am too busy, but I will gladly give suggestions and direction as needed.

4. More advertisement...this relates to number 2. The site needs to be exposed to many people...

5. Some new changes to the appearance. This is not my first priority...but I notice that side tables have been pretty popular. I wouldn't mind changing the format of the site eventually...alas, I don't have much time for now.

6. More Manalist Characters....we need more priests, religious soldiers, or Manalist characters in general...since they are sort of the main focus of the rpg.

I think that active characters should have multiple characters who will roleplay when their other character is currently occupied, waiting on another post, or you simply want to roleplay as a "different" kind of character.

Just to prove I'm not a hypocrite in this, my characters are Lonnrot Kuckanen, Anthony West, and Tyler Bargrin, so it's difficult and boring for me to have them post to each other.

If needed, I can create some premade character based off your YOA/RI character if you don't have the time. If you didn't participate in YOA/RI, I'm willing to create you a new character if your willing to describe the character you want to me, in detail, and fully incorporate him/her into the plot. Simply pm me if you would like to exploit this option.

I'm currently busy with AP classes and extra-curricular activities, but I do have the time to assist you if needed. Feel free to ask. H can only do so much, and that's where I come in.

We have some terrorist characters now, so that is great. But I think we could REALLY use some charis that work for the Anti Drug Commision, Manalists, Genetech, or any other soldier or anti terrorist/crime sort of character that could help deal with crime and terrorism on the rpg...

Otherwise, we could also use more ..non terrorist rebels..such as communists, religious rebels, socialists, anarchists (of the left leaning sort), and so on.

I might make some more premades, but I think those are just some ideas of what the rpg needs right now if anyone wants to play as any new characters.
