HGTV is a disease created by Genetech for the Manalists. The Manalists believe that to be homosexual or transgendered is a sin. With this in mind, they paid Genetech to create an STD to target those populations in particular.
Genetech therefore created an STD which impacts those populations in particular.
The disease is pretty similar to AIDs and causes large purple sores all over the body of the victim. The sores are the most painful and unpleasant part of the disease according to victims.
There is no cure, but red leaf does help ease the pain and heal the sores slightly. Since red leaf is hard to obtain, most victims go untreated.
