Rutheven has the appearance of a French Nobleman in his late 20s only in a more modern context. He wears suits considered perhaps considered vintage. Often is seen outside perhaps in gloves and heavy coats and perhaps a hat. His body less covered up in clothes as it gets dark. Rutheven is a blonde and tall imposing man standing around 6 feet. In addition he has a rather noble but arrogant look upon his face, his perceived pretentious appearance is supplemented by his often arrogant grin.
Personality: Rutheven is a cruel and arrogant bastard in every sense of the word. He personally finds it amusing to find people who oppose him and crush them as if it were a game. He is however very patient as being alive for 700 years has given him the ability to wait very long for goals to be achieved. Rutheven is not above or below any method to gain what he wants whatever that may be.
Story:
Rutheven’s life is hard to track but it is thought he born into a French Noble family in the Beginning of the 1600s. Rutheven had enjoyed briefly a life of nobility until his family suffered from a Social setback and became diminished and no longer Nobility. In efforts to preserve the power and nobility Rutheven sought power in anyway way he could and found it in the curse (or as he saw it salvation) of Vampirism and through his endless efforts offered himself over to the curse.
With his new found ability and powers he gained himself powerful allies and connections securing himself as a Nobleman once again and restoring him to the former status he once enjoyed. Rutheven was not simply satisfied with his former position though and wanted more. Through the years with his many connections and his cunning Rutheven would in one way or another take part in the policies and actions of France, all in the pursuit of gaining more and more power. Eventually Rutheven stretched his contacts outside of France into many of the other Major Countries of the world.
With the rise of the Manalists Rutheven immediately switched his allegiances. Realizing the power now to be had in the Manalists and as well in the World Economic Council Rutheven used the contacts that were now to be found in the Manalists to get him into Council where he has been as a senior Council Member. He however has not yet achieved the coveted position of Moderator that is currently held by Ariel Tal Shachar, but he is bidding his time and waiting to have Ariel removed and gain support to have himself propped into the Moderator position. He is familiar with the Vampire and fellow Economic Council Member Jun Cia, whom he sometimes considers an ally but often times a rival. He is also aware of Vivien LaFramboise whom he believes he can manipulate and twist until she is no longer of use to him and until then he is one of her major supporters along with Jun Cia from the Economic Council.
