Name: Isvara Sharma (or Dr. Sharma)
Age: 41
Race: Indo-Aryan (brown)
Ethnicity: East Indian
Nationality: Indian
Economic Class: Wealthy
Gender Identity: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual but doesn't care about sex. (Borderline Asexual)
Political Belief: International Humanist and Liberal
Religious Belief: Openly Manalist (secretly Pantheist Hindu)
Organization: Graviga Inc, a small budding corporation that works on anti-gravity technology for space travel and other useful applications.
Occupation: CEO and Partical Physicist
Skills:
His skills are the culmination of his management MBA, economic knowledge, and his Doctorate in Theoretical Physics
Weaknesses:
Powers
Weapon
Appearance: Isvara is a little over six feet tall. He is a fairly slim individual with a light brown skin complexion. His face often carries stubbles with his hair a bit shaggy and disoriented and the bags under his eyes often cause others to mistake him for being rather depressed (but they're just there due to his lack of sleep).
Personality: Isvara is fairly introverted as he is regularly caught up in his work to make something out of his company which he considers his blood and sweat. He is always thinking of one thing or another, formulating ideas and plans in his head (which he never writes down in fear of it being stolen). In conversation, he is often snide and cynical in his remarks as he doesn't have any high expectations of this world. Other than that, he tries his hardest to be a very amiable CEO and boss to his employees. He personally doesn't believe in social heirarchy divided by wealth status as promoted by the Manalists and this is reflected by Graviga's decentralized work environment.
Story: Isvara was born into a middle class family in India. He became interested in science fiction and physics at the age of 10. However, that was also the age where his father departed his family due to lung cancer. His mother was left 250,000 Rands collectively from his father's life insurance plan and savings. The money was spent very conservatively towards Isvara's education by his mother until he reached the age of 18, which was when his mother deemed it appropriate to provide him around 170,000 Rands for him to pursue his post secondary education.
He attended a University located in "England" where Isvara became interested in the stock market. This coincided with his long time interests in science as he saw a series of technology companies such as Genetech, Intelligent Design, and Sota gain more prominance. He saw what he thought would lead to the future, and hence invested heavily in the three companies.
However, while pursuing his studies at his university, he would often go for long walks for the purpose of thinking and reflection. He would walk past ghettos nearly everyday, thinking about scientific discoveries. He would walk past the ghettos, thinking about new companies to invest in. He would walk past the ghettos, wondering where his life will lead. He would walk past the ghettos, thinking about the girl he loved and wished to propose to. Alas, he would walk past the ghettos, reflecting on his broken heart as his dearest was taken forever to a labour camp.
That marked the day when he began to grow resentful of the Manalists.
The next few days rather than walking past the ghetto, he would sit on the bench at the junction where the ghetto was located. He would think terrible thoughts. He would plan terrible things in his mind. The words "crush Father Manala" would roll through his brain. He simply wanted revenge at all costs to the point that he thought out an elaborate plan to destroy the status quo. Yet, he couldn't let out his feelings and thoughts in fear of being apprehended. He kept all of his ideas and plans to himself; not uttering a single word about them
Years later when he 28 years of age, Isvara had finished his Bachelors Degree in Physics and his Masters in Business Administration which focused on the management stream and the economic stream. Luckily, the three main corporations he had invested in 10 years back had grown quite bloated. Thankfully, that translated into 30 million Rands in his pocket. With the help of his colleagues from his university, he founded Graviga Incorporated.
Pertaining to Isvara's beliefs and theories, Graviga's management practices were unorthodox in comparison to the various other companies. Isvara implemented a non-heirarchical structure to his corporation and provided stock options to each and every employee, including custodial staff. He provided handsome benefits and always tried to make his employee happy. While Isvara held majority shares in his company, he never dictated but rather he guided the company in his direction. A third party observer would assume that the corporation did not consist of central management. Its system was so unorthodox to the point that it seemed to the Manalists that it was a form of collectivism that encouraged laziness. They had tried to enforce their laws but the CEO, Isvara gave his typical response in defense of decentralized management, that it made his company efficient and more profitable. The financial statements reflected his argument. The Manalists backed away, yet tried to keep a close eye on Graviga for other violations.
Finally today, Graviga Incorporated has perfected its anti-gravity technology. It has made monumental breakthroughs in various other particle physics technologies. At the same time, it holds international patents and the technology's way of working is heavily kept as a secret within the confines of a room bound by a terrible gravitational force; which can be turned off only by Isvara's password. Therefore, Graviga Incorporated is very confident that their company can meet success as this technology would revolutionize transportation.
