For the third contest, I want you to come up with a name for the Highest Temple in Rome in this game. The Highest Temple sounds a little...generic. What do you think it could be called? The Temple of Terror is the name of the prison, so I would prefer something without the word temple in it.
Anyone who gives an idea will get 2 points!
I can only pick one idea this time.

Also, the Manalist religion has priests, high priests, religious soldiers, The Master and acolytes. Can you think of a position name that is higher than the High Priests. What is it called and what does it entail? The best idea will get implemented into the rpg!

I actually have several ideas for the high temple's name.
The Father's Throne The Light of Manala The Temple of Bloody Light (After the red glow that shines from Manala crystals.) The Throne on High The Temple on High
And a few others that devolve after that last one.
As for the ranking, I'll need to clarify the order. Correct me if I'm wrong. Seriously.
1.Manalist Guard/Soldier- Technically the lowest rank, canon fodder for the Manalist Priesthood. Cannot advance beyond this rank.
2. Acolyte-Essentially a Priest in Training. After some time as an Acolyte, and after your abilities are developed, one advances to full priesthood. Basically the interns of Manala.
3. Manalist Priest-Fully fledged member of the Manalist order, the enforcers of Manala's laws and edicts. If put against a Medieval monarchy system, they would basically be the knights, important members of the collective, but still low enough to be given orders and be sent on errands and quests(Missions).Through enough backstabbing and ambition one can advance to High Priest.
4. High Priest- The bishops of the Manalist faith, essentially the Lords and Dukes of the faith to the Priests' knight. High enough up to not run here and there on random errands, but must still bow to the King(The Master). By being the strongest of all High Priests when the Master dies (or more usually by killing him yourself) one may become the new Master.
5. The Master- The King. The absolute ruler of Manala in the Father's absence, just as the kings of olden days were supposedly made ruler of all by the grace of God. Answers to no one, as long as no one kills them and they at least pretend to follow the teachings of the Father.
If that's the way it works, then it seems pretty cohesive. I suppose a rank in between High Priest and Master, for those chosen to compete for the position after the death of the old Master might work. The Invested, or the Ambitious maybe?
By the way, if I'm wrong about the different levels and ranks, PLEASE correct me. I'm planning some stuff for my character that will involve the differing ranks.

That pretty much sums up the basic positions in the religion. There are other positions, such as torturers at the Temple of Terror and I was going to make a new position through a premade character called a Grand Inquisitor, but as a whole, those are the main positions. Another way to look at it is that a Priest generally oversees a single temple, a High Priest could oversee the temples of an entire area and can give orders to the priests of that area and the Master oversees the entire religion.
There is also a position known as the Watcher, but that is just one individual as well, and a premade character.
There is also a subgroup called the Wrath, although no one currently plays as the Wrath. They are essentially more elite soldiers who deal with ridding the world of unauthorized Manala users and supernatural beings.

Maybe the new ranks could be Inquisitor and Crusader. Crusaders could be specialized elite Manalist soldiers known for being zealots and the Inquisitors could be a judge/priest/torturer of a sort.

Sounds good to me, though I should mention that Inquisitor sounds like my falsified idea of a 'Warrior Priest', or a priest that specializes in combat. In which case, an Inquisitor would be a priest that specialized in the laws of Manala. If you like that, then you could create a lot of diversity among the manalist priesthood by creating different titles for each specialty of priest. A Templar is a priest that is specifically there to maintain and protect a temple. A Mortist would be a priest skilled in the techniques of healing that are allowable by Manala, as well as dealing with the disposal of their failed patients. Things like that. It's an interesting idea that may make becoming a priest more desirable. There aren't many on the site.

Thanks for the help with the priest specialization ideas. I implemented that into the site's information.
As for the High Temple's name...I will leave that open for a while and see if anyone else comes up with some suggestions.
