Purification- Soren can purify something that has been poisoned or polluted. He is restricted in that he can only purify something that is living (so for instance, he could purify a fish poisoned by mercury, but not the entire lake. Or, he could cure someone of gray sickness, but not be able to purify the gray zone. Something that is dead, obviously can’t be purified… so a dead tree or fish can not be saved or brought back.)
Healing- He can heal himself or others of injuries.

Soren has gray eyes and shaggy black hair that is a little longer than chin length and longer in the front than in the back. His nose and face are generally thin. He himself is thin, lacking in muscle tone. He is a little shorter than average and tends to wear gray and black.
Personality:
Soren embraces both magic and technology, but is very mindful of the impact of technology on the environment. He is environmentally minded, but believes that technology can be used to improve the lives of people if it is used properly. His company combines magic and technology, trying to develop products that are ecologically friendly. He is logical and has a mind for science. He very skeptical, depressed, and a loner. Because of his personality disorder, he is very self sufficient and does not seek relationships with others. He is solitary, emotionally cold, and in general, doesn’t connect with people.
Story:
Soren is the son of the Danish King Valdemar and an elvish Queen named Skylldlath, or Skulda to humans. Because of the controversy surrounding his parents’ affair, he was not raised in Denmark, but instead sent to live in Greenland. He lived in a small village and was raised by friends of his human family who were employees of Crest Mining and who did work surveying Canada and Greenland for Manala crystals for the company.
He was largely ignored by his human parents and spent much of his time alone. It is during these years that he grew to appreciate nature and the outdoors, since it was his main companion in life.
After the Manalists killed the King and Queen of Denmark, Soren returned and went to live with his half sister in the palace in Copenhagen. He mostly kept to himself, but, using the family’s wealth, he was able to start up a small business which he called Royal Dane Organics. His business skills from his adoptive family and his experience with the outdoors would shape his company. It remains a small company, but actively searches for new technologies that can help the environment and that utilize magic and science.
He has negotiated with his sister Ingrid that the elves can have a safehaven in the Frisian Islands. Publicly, he has allowed Ingrid to appear to control the company, even though he secretly is the founder and head. He is not a public person, so, she is the one who attends Economic Council meetings on behalf the company.
Generally, he has poor relations with people and is not accepted by elves or humans. However, he does believe in making the world a better, safer place for both races. That is the ultimate goal of his company.
He tolerates his sister, since he needs her. However, he is annoyed with her materialism and naivety.
