-Puppet Mastery- Jester can bring any puppet or stuffed animal to life under his control. This means he can animate dolls, stuffed toys, puppets and so on so that they do his bidding. He gives them a mission and they can not act independently of the mission. If the toy or puppet is dismembered, it will become inanimate again.
-Magic Mirrors- Jester can pass through any mirror to another mirror. That means he could show up in your bedroom or bathroom if you have a mirror there. He can not pass through a broken mirror.
-The Last Laugh- Jester has a laugh that will cause a person to experience pain, with the pain increasing the longer the laugh continues. After a few minutes, it will cause nose bleeds, ear aches, and migraines. The longer the laugh goes, the more severe the symptoms. It can cause brain damage and hearing loss if it goes on long enough.
-Nightmare Mirror- Jester can hold a regular cosmetic mirror up to someone’s chest that allows him to see their greatest fears. This can be used for torture.
Weapon
-A side kick named Pine Eyes- who is a knife wielding wooden puppet with a mind of his own. The puppet is about 3 feet tall, made of wood, wears a feathered cap, has a long pointed nose, and has strings that he drags behind him.
-Explosive Juggling Balls
Appearance:
The Red Jester wears white face paint and a red Jester outfit. He is about 5’7 and pretty thin. His voice is wispy. He is called “he” but, there is no real indication if he is male or female from his appearance or voice. He wears red lipstick and black eye makeup.
Personality:
Jester is chaotic and malicious. He loves having fun with people and thinks that live is just a performance. He can be over dramatic, strange, cruel, and loud. Sometimes he is humorous, but usually at the expense of others. He is a loner who spends most of his time with his side kick, a Puppet named Pine Eyes.
story:
No one really knows the history of Jester. He does however work for the Manalists in Rome at the Temple of Terror as a key torturer there. Because he is strange and malicious, he excels at torturing people through creeping them out. He is relentless in his torments and it is all fun and games for him.
For the most part, he does not leave the Temple of Terror much. He isn’t one to socialize and he feels most comfortable in that Temple. He doesn’t really talk to the other Manalists, but keeps to himself.
The Manalists let him do as he pleases as long as he gets his job done. They even built him his own “Fun House” in a subbasement of the Temple of Terror. The Fun House is where he keeps special torturing devices in a theme park themed torture room.
Jester does not talk about himself or his past. Even his true name remains a mystery.
When he isn’t working at the Temple of Terror, he enjoys going to circuses, carnivals, puppet shows, and street performances. However, he often thinks he can do better than the performers and will steal the show.
His best friend is Pine Eyes, a puppet who lives, talks, and acts on his own. Jester does not control Pine Eyes. Pine Eyes is even more cruel than Jester, and will sometimes sit on his shoulder and give advice on how to better make people suffer.
Pine Eyes is a puppet who was made from a cursed tree outside of Rome. He was made in the 1700s by a wood worker who was lonely. The possessed puppet killed the Woodworker and has since roamed the Earth, causing trouble.
Jester’s history is scarce, but it is known that he is Italian and that he is human. It is also known that to some degree, he supports the Manalists.
There is a rumor that he was once a Priest who suffered from mental illness. The illness was a delusion that a wooden puppet was making him do bad things. He was put away and tested and treated by Dr. Lonrott. He eventually escaped and reinvented himself as The Red Jester in order to work for the Manalists once again and to avoid detection.
