Death touch- he can kill something by touching it.
Can’t die- Surma is the god of death, and it is nearly impossible to kill him.
Beast God transformation- Surma can turn into a large, white, lion like beast with many horns.
Death Breath- in his Beast God form, he can breathe a cloud of death.
Resurrection- Surma can bring back some dead people, but usually only morals (so he can’t bring back the dead Gods). In order to bring back the dead, he must use a lot of his life energy. That puts him to sleep for 3 days after each resurrection. He must wait three days until after death to bring someone back. It is an old law of the Gods. The more powerful the person is that he brings back, the longer he will spend sleeping after he uses this power.

Surma has shaggy white hair with red and violet eyes. He is short and slim and appears to be about 14-15 years old. He usually wears black and red. He also wears a black heart necklace.
Personality:
Surma is very shy and often depressed. He is a calm, peaceful person who doesn’t like to fight. The reason why he doesn’t like to fight is because he is the god of death. He has seen so many people die in his long life, that he takes death very seriously. He doesn’t want to kill anyone unless it is their time, and even then, he has his doubts. To him, death is a thing to take seriously and life is something to be cherished. He is sensitive to art and music, which he enjoys creating. His job as god of death depresses him, so to make up for it, he tries to treat people kindly and make the world a better place.
story:
Surma is the younger brother of the God Keitoleinen. He has a sister named Kalma who is the Goddess of graves. During the battle of the gods, he was killed along with his sister and all of the other gods. However, since he is the god of death, he has control of even his own death. He therefore came back to the human world. He decided to go into hiding to avoid Keitoleinen and try to find other gods. He moved to Germany, where he lived in the country and tried to make sense of the world and what he should do.
Because he needed a job, he went to work for the Artz Lehrer Pharmaceutical company as a guinea pig. The doctors and scientists often test new medicines on him. Because he can’t die, he makes a good test candidate. However, this has caused some people in the company to suspect that he is not an ordinary human. The money he makes at a guinea pig is enough to pay for a small apartment in Munich.
Through his work for Artz Lehrer, he has come into contact with Null. To some degree, he supports Null, because he wants the world to change. He would like to be involved with them, however, he is against the tactic of terrorism since it involves death. He doesn’t think anyone should have to die for change. Ultimately, he doesn’t believe in religion or politics, but he does believe in life and peace. So, he is somewhat of a pacifist/nihilist.
Surma is also involved with the Enlightened Brotherhood, since some of their members are pacifists. He is against their drug use, but likes that they want a peaceful world. In being a member, he has met Niilo Ukkonen. He suspects that Niilo might be the reincarnation of a God, so, he wants to become friends with Niilo and learn if this is true.
So far, Surma has not contacted Keitoleinen. He would like to see him again, since they are brothers. He knows that Keitoleinen can’t kill him, so he does not fear his brother. However, he feels that Keitoleinen is evil and causes suffering in the world. He hopes that maybe he can show Keitoleinen how to be kind and respect life. He would like to transform his brother more than fight him.
Surma will fight if he must defend himself or innocent life, but for the most part, he tries to avoid it.
He enjoys painting, singing, and plays the bassoon very well. He is friends with Genki Kurokawa, the son of Momo Kurokawa. They often play music together. Genki is Surma’s best friend.
As a whole, Surma wants to help people and help the rebels in particular.
He is a good person with a big heart, but someone who is often sad. He wears a necklace of a blackheart. That heart is actually his own heart, which was removed by Keitoleinen. He put it on a necklace after he returned from the dead. If a mortal wears the heart necklace, it will slowly kill them...so he tries his best not to lose it. He has a scar on his chest over his heart.
The love of Surma’s life is actually his sister, Kalma, which seems strange by human standards, but isn’t so rare among Gods. He hopes that Kalma might be alive and somewhere in the world. He hopes to find her someday.
