Rose is intelligent and witty. She is not very emotional around most people. She likes to party and have fun. She sometimes drinks or acts in ways that she later regrets. She likes attention from guys and easily attracts men. She has a hard time staying in relationships, but generally likes to be in them over being single. She is a bit chaotic and has a hard time focusing. Sometimes she lacks direction. She enjoys freedom and doesn't like to be tied down.

Rose is the daughter of a plant woman who happened to be a Rose. Her father is Dr. Hoito from Genetech. She has never really met her father, who was never a part of her life. Her mother raised her, but her mother suffers from some mental health issues. Eventually her mother was taken away from Rose by Dr. Lonrott. After that, Rose had to raise herself.
Rose did alright though. She stayed with friends or other relatives, but dropped out of high school when she couldn't afford it. Eventually she got her schooling certificate and even tried to go to college. Rose couldn't focus well so eventually she dropped out of that as well. Despite her difficulties staying in school, she is a genius. She loves science and excels at it. She could easily be a scientist at Genetech if she applied herself and made it through school.
Right now though, her focus is just surviving in this dark world.
Rose does not know she is part plant. She does know that her mother called herself a plant and that is why she was taken away. She also knows that she was born on the island of Skye. Rose does not know who her father is or that he is the famous scientist at Genetech.

She has a boyfriend named Walden, but sometimes she just isn't there for him. She likes a lot of space and has a hard time being in relationships.
