Appearance: Ingrid has blonde hair that she pulls back into a bun. She is slim but fit, and often wears clothes for the various sports she is involved with, such as fencing, sailing, equestrian and so on. Her eyes are light blue and as a whole, she is a very attractive woman.
Personality: Ingrid can be icey, aloof, and naïve. She is sometimes in her own sheltered world that consists of her many sporting activities and social events. She is polite, prim and proper, and reserved in social situations. She has a moderate temperament, but generally expects to get her way. She is often naïve about the world and how bad things are. She insulates herself in the palace and in Denmark. She is liked by the people and involves herself with humanitarian causes to keep up public appearances. She does not engage in too much charity as not to upset the Manalists.
Story: Princess Ingrid was born in Copenhagen Denmark to King Valdemar and Queen Alexandrine III. She has an older sister who joined the rebellion against the Manalists as a religious rebel. The sister’s name is Princess Gerda. She also has a brother named Soren, who is her half brother from the King’s relationship with an elven Queen. Ingrid grew up in Copenhagen, spending most of her time in Amelienborg Palace there. As a child, she took up many activities including fencing, ballet, and equestrian. She excelled at sports and was generally an upbeat, healthy, wholesome person.
As a teen, her parents were killed by the Manalists because they were openly Lutheran. This meant that Ingrid became Queen of Denmark. However, she still calls herself Princess, since Queen sounds too matronly. Denmark is one of the only places in the world that is ruled by a monarchy, although the royal family is involved with a company that owns the land in Denmark. The company is called Royal Dane Organics, which is a company that is trying to develop ecologically friendly technologies. They mostly sell their designs to Genetech or other companies, but have marketed their own foods and plants. The people believe that Ingrid is in charge of the company, but it is actually Soren, her half brother, who controls it. However, she does have a seat on the Economic Council AND governing council to represent RDO (the company) and Denmark.
Ingrid is a popular, sought after woman. Many well known, wealthy guys have tried to date her. But, she is very fickle and often ends relationships abruptly. She is known to be independent, cold, and doesn’t get attached to the guys she is involved with. She sometimes dates less affluent males as well, but once again, she never gets too attached.
Ingrid is aware that she must eventually settle down and find a husband so that she can produce an heir to the throne. With her sister, Princess Gerda, missing since her parents were murdered, she is the last of the human side of the Danish royal family.
As a whole, she tries to get along with the Manalists so that she does not share her parent’s fate. However, she is secretly Lutheran, as the royal family of Denmark has always been.
She has a mecha named the Snow Queen. She uses it to protect Danish interests as well as her company. She is actually a skilled pilot and took lessons on how to pilot the mecha from Kalma Keitoleinen.
