Personality:
Vladimir is a nice guy, but his problem is that he's ludicrously intelligent. This is a problem due to the fact he enjoys talking about things that few people who aren't educated can't understand him. When he feels that he has met either his superior or equal, he's productive and talkative. In addition to his made-obvious intelligence, he's charming and has excellent word choice.
story:
Vladimir was born in St. Petersburg considerably before the Manalists and companies took power. Once his mother was released from the hospital, Vladimir and his family moved to Berlin in Germany, home of his father. There, he truly began his life. Learning to read at a relatively young age and do basic math even before, Vladimir proved to be a fairly intelligent boy. However, due to a traffic accident when he chased his ball into the road, he suffered some terrible brain damage and (as a result) became little more than conscious vegetable.
Vladimir was able to perform the most basic of tasks (chores, simple speech, etc.) until his condition became too much for his body too handle and fell into a coma when he was 7. He was hospitalized for about 2 years until he was transfered too a medical research facility owned by a company called “Genetic Research Inc.” when his parents went bankrupt due to the German market crashing and all of his father's stocks also crashing. So, in very much of a sense, Vladimir was sold to science by his parents in the hopes that the doctors there would find a way to help him survive. For a some time, Vladimir was asleep and little progress was made until a young doctor managed to combine an ape's DNA with that of a plant. Seeing as Vladimir was fond of rose bushes, the doctor decided to try to combine Vladimir's DNA with that of a rose bush's. He got clearance to do so, and did so. As a result, Vladimir was the first genetically-created Kukkahenkilo.
Vladimir showed little sign of recovery, then suddenly began to cover when exposed to sunlight. As a result, Vladimir was able to fully recover (both physically and mentally) and shapeshift within a couple months of the operation. They educated him very well and Vladimir worked for them as an intern for some 14 years. During that time, they paid for his education and living expenses. In time, he had a doctorate in education techniques.
The doctors felt that they had done well and were done with Vladimir. As a result, they released him from their facility and were soon bought out by another company anyway. Returning to his family, he found that they had become Christian fundamentalist extremists and attempted to kill Vladimir by burying him alive. Thinking that they had done well, they left him and Vladimir laid under the earth for decades.
At about 45 M, Vladimir emerged from the ground. Confused about what was going on in the world, he started tutoring rich children and raised a small fortune doing so. He returned to Berlin for a visit and found a large mansion and estate at a good price and bought it. He bought some small, local companies and served as a part-time advisor to some of the members of the economic council to help fund the restoration of his estate and mansion. Once renovations were done around 47 M, Vladimir also decided to make his estate a campus for higher learning, and so he did.
Vladimir named his new school “University of Studies and Advancement.” The Manalists took interest in both the university and Vladimir himself, as he was from a time when Manalism was not in control. They helped fund his university on the condition that he would promote “Manalist studies.” Vladimir agreed due to the fact that he was in a small amount of debt from setting up the campus. Hundreds of students came the first year, and more every year after.
Today, Vladimir has some 5 doctorates in seemingly random topics, is fairly wealthy, and has recently set up some classes in secret from the Manalists that include history.
