What parts of your character show you?
My character shows bits and pieces of me when the talks to himself, says something sarcastic, or becomes driven by his work.
I personally think one's character should be a balanced mix of who they are and who they wish they were.

I think my favorite characters to play are asshole guys. Maybe deep down I am just a womanizing man.
My characters usually have some aspect about me, but the ones most similar have probably been Hilja..although I am not THAt submissive...maybe Bassarov...although I am not a womanizer...or manizer.

I am crazy as hell sooo all of my characters reflect that one way or another. Like Helene. I am just random like that.

I gave Alexei a balisong because that is my favorite kinda knife, and I own several! I can do a couple tricks, too, but I am not quite advanced.

I like the way knives look, but they're, in general, just not for me.

I'm generally pretty personable, polite, kind, and easy to get along with (as is pretty much required of any journalist who wants to get an interview), which is something I will be playing to the hilt with Alrick.

Bambi's similar to me in quite a few ways I suppose. For one, I share her paranoia, often trying to see everywhere at once. I like to think my paranoia isn't too bad, though, just in large quantities of people. I also have horrible sleeping problems like her. The last thing that comes to mind is my failure of sociality and conversation.

That's a idea; see everywhere at once. It's cool, I'm schyzo.

All of my characters reflect some facite of my fractured mind.
I have never played any character that reflected my physically or socially in any real sense, all of mine have been reflections of my dreams and visions for characters.
However!... Any characters who have been burdened with "Peter" in their name have reflected idealized aspects of my own personality. They behave how I would behave if I had access to the abilitites (including things such as confidence and appearance) that they do.
Then there's dudes like Virgil who are dark reflections of my life. Instead of acting like I do they act like I think, in a vague way. Virgil's insane rants and irrational choices often mirrored my internal vision of real world events, bent and altered by fantasy.
Any of you old school players who got to go toe to toe with Virgil or Peter the Owl know that I really have a thing for escolating combat too.

I'm pretty social, outgoing, and tend to be somewhat intense when I talk to people, like Tuesday.
Unlike her, I don't take much seriously though.

I would just like to say that Virgil was my favorite character in anything ever. Ever. There was not one post I didn't read and laugh out loud at probably. I was your super quiet, ultra-amused stalker many a day on RI.

Heh, I suppose it would be cool.
Her appearance isn't really much like mine, though I need glasses. The only real resemblance are her eyes and hair. You wouldn't exactly be able to tell about the hair, since it's usually dyed purple.
Ahh... I'm not a freak.

I was your super quiet, ultra-amused stalker many a day on RI. Awesome! I always liked the original Virgil. I liked him because, though he started out as a Dante parody, he evolved into a personality of his own. Glad you liked him. I'm thinking of a way to bring him back, in spirit at least. He's so overpowered and nutty that he really only worked in RI where he was balanced against other overpowered characters. I'm thinking of bringing him back as a factionless element of change. Maybe a failed experiment by Genetech.

God I remember I got brought into RI for the express purpose of going after Peter and then it turned into a massive destructive firefight with Jon jumping in for shits and giggles. First time I pulled out two of my trademarks - the gate redirect and the null field.
